"Our stay at the Mount Edgcumbe was genuinely exceptional. My wife wasn’t feeling well during our visit, and the manager and staff showed such warmth and care — nothing was ever too much trouble. Their kindness and attentiveness really stood out and made us feel completely looked after. The room was beautifully appointed, with everything we could need, and the bed was especially comfortable. "Everything about the Buxted Park Hotel was superb, starting with the staff: they were deeply knowledgeable and personable. The rooms were beautifully furnished and afforded scenic views. Dining was a delight. Finally, we enjoyed the estate grounds. The Church of St. Margaret the Queen provided a religious and historical uplift. And don’t miss the many trails on and around the estate!"

"Comfortable and stylish hotel in an excellent location near the Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells. Breakfast was very good although it took time to find a member of staff to take our order when we arrived at 7.30am. "

"This is our go-to lodging when attending the opera at Glyndebourne. A wonderful, country house in Uckfield, set on beautiful, expansive private grounds. Comfortably and exquisitely furnished, it is always a pleasure to arrive and occupy the spacious common rooms and assigned bedrooms. As frequently encountered in England, old properties may lack some modern amenities Americans are used to like air conditioning and convenient USB charging ports. Televisions are dated; rooms do not have clocks....

"Lovely, quiet B&B on a farm. Location is remote, which made it a peaceful stay. There was plenty of parking available. The room was large and comfortable with a good bathroom and a strong wi-fi signal. The owner recommended a local pub, which was a 10-minute drive away. The food and beer were excellent! Breakfast the next morning was superb. The host was very helpful throughout."
