    - Entry to all three structures (the Lodge, Main Cabin, and Bunk House) requires steps. The Main Cabin is 2 stories with 2 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom on the 1st floor. The Lodge is 2 stories with 1 bedroom and 1 full bathroom on the 2nd floor. The Bunk House is a single-story structure
    - The Bunk House does not have air conditioning. It also has limited seasonal capabilities; there is no water or bathroom access in the Bunk House during winter
    - The dock will be available for guest use from Memorial Day through Labor Day
    - Your safety matters. This property features 2 exterior security cameras: camera 1 is near the Main Cabin front door facing the Lodge, and camera 2 is on the Lodge garage door facing the Main Cabin. The cameras do not look into any interior spaces. The cameras record video and sound when activated by motion

Great place for our family! Peaceful place and was nice to have different places to sleep. Host was very great to work with and got back to us when we needed something. We’d love to come back next year!

Perfect Lake Cabin Getaway

Perfect cabin for a weekend getaway with a large group! The property offers plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained, and the cabin has a beautiful view of the lake that you can enjoy throughout your stay.We had a great time fishing right off the dock and caught northern pike, bass, and sunfish throughout the weekend. For those looking to golf, Crosswoods Golf Course is a great option. It’s only about 20 minutes away, reasonably priced, and the staff was excellent. If you’re looking for some nightlife, Moonlite Bay is another great nearby spot.Charlie was an outstanding host—friendly, responsive, and very easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing getaway!

This property was so much fun for our Large Family getaway! The sleeping accommodations were excellent, plenty of room for all 16 of us. The host, Charlie, was exceptional and easy to get a hold of if we had any questions or needs. Very responsive and accomodating. The Lodge was, of course, a hit with the kids and adults alike. The view from the main cabin was breathtaking; we had the fortunate opportunity to see it with and without snow during our 7-day stay. It felt like we had rented our own little resort! Thanks for sharing your gorgeous property with us, we will be back!

Perfect for Extended Families and Large Groups!

This space was so perfect for our Large Extended Family of 16! We fit perfectly, and everyone had a cozy space to sleep. It's pretty rare to find such a magical little spot to fit all of us. The Lake views were picturesque, and the proximity to a Grocery Store and the nearby town (Crosslake) was never more than 10 minutes! It is also close enough to head over and explore the cute Lake Town of Nisswa for events or just a day of shopping. Of course, the Lodge (games and rec area) was a huge hit with both the kids and the adults! So much fun. Renting this property was likely renting your own private resort, highly recommended!

The Californians Do Minnesota - Top Notch Experience!

Incredible stay at Rocky Shores! A MN native, I was excited to bring a group of 10 friends from CA for a week on the lake. This property did not disappoint! With 3 separate buildings, we could spread out, yet had plenty of common areas to congregate. The Lodge was a hit - we enjoyed most of our nights here playing games and jamming tunes. Only drawback was having to climb the spiral staircase and walk through the loft bedroom to get to the restroom. It would be ideal to have a main level bathroom available, but we survived! The main cabin was smaller than expected, but the upstairs bedroom (mine and my wife's) had an stunning lake view, as did the living room on the main level. The primary was equipped with a vanity - although a toilet/shower would have been optimal, having the sink and vanity space was great for getting ready in the morning without forging the (steep) stairs. The other 2 guestrooms were small, but no complaints from the occupants. The kitchen had ample amenities to suit our cooking needs (we cooked almost every meal throughout the week). We did encounter a small leak in the refrigerator, which was temporarily fixed with a bowl - not a huge deal! Having only one bathroom for 5 people was a little tricky, but we managed to coordinate between the other buildings' bathrooms. The water pump in the main house is quite loud on the main floor, but went unnoticed once we figured out what it was. The sun porch was great for meal gatherings, as was the deck with plenty of seating and fire pit. Not to mention again, the view! We BBQ'd several times, and needed to fill the propane tank, which wasn't a problem. Upon arrival, we had some difficulty unlocking the porch door to the deck, but were able to troubleshoot immediately with the host. The bunkhouse was perfect for friends traveling with a dog. Unsure if the kitchen amenities were utilized, but there was a kitchenette with a table as well as a private bathroom, TV, and bunkbeds. There was mention of not being able to get hot water in the shower, and that the fridge didn't work, but we were able to work around, sharing amenities from the other buildings. Thankfully we had great weather, and were able to use the new dock for fishing and relaxing. The paddle boat looked to be operable, but it was full of water, so we opted out! The host's hospitality and availability was above and beyond! We were checked in on often, and they were very responsive and cordial! Count on us returning to Rocky Shores!
