We had two rooms . Both ok but think mattresses need upgrades. Also rubbish out side windows on flat roof doesn’t make a good look. But would stay again Food in bar was lovely as were the waiting staff.

If you value the suspension in your car then avoid the long potholed drive up to this property! On arrival it transpired the lift was not working and no-one appeared the whole weekend to investigate or repair. No idea how long it had been broken. No apology was given when we arrived. We were simply directed to the staircase to get to our room on the 2nd floor!. No idea when the skirting boards in the room was last cleaned. The shower in the room was scalding hot one minute and freezing cold the next. They checked it out and stated it was working ok and made some comment about old pipes. But the next shower was the same, scalding hot one minute and freezing the next. Decided to use the shower in the spa instead and the shower head was held in place with a rubber band! There were cracked tiles in the bathroom. The ceiling wallpaper was peeling off in places in the bedroom. The wardrobe door was broken and we were in an attic room so I had to duck down to get into bed due to the sloped ceiling and a protruding ceiling joist. It was either that or crawl over the bed from the side that wasn't under the slope We paid just under £400 for two nights! Absolutely shocking for the price paid. The poor reception staff must dread the customers coming to discuss all the problems with them. We overheard a customer talking at reception as we walked past who stated, "apart from the problems with the shower ..." We would never stay here again!

Pelo preco que pagamos, foi excelente. Era confortável. Ficamos 5 noites. Fica perto do centro (20m a pé numa caminhada tranquila), mas a região não é tão boa. Meu movimentado, um povo um pouco estranho. Ficamos muito quarto 7 e do banheiro, em determinada hora do dia, sai um odor podre. Tipo de esgoto. O funcionário que nós recebeu era péssimo, chegamos 11h e perguntamos sobre o check-in early e ele sequer nos deixou ficar sentados no café. Literalmente nos expulsando e dizendo que se quiséssemos eram 20 pounds. No mais, não vimos mais funcionários. Um absurdo a cozinha não ter um talher, um copo. A cama era confortável, roupas de cama limpas. Foi ótimo.
