"I loved staying in this lovely, quiet, small cabin. Just a short walk from North House Folk School where I was taking class, it felt right in line with the folk atmosphere of my class. Rustic, super clean, beautifully handbuilt, relaxing bathtub, comfy bed up in loft, and the view!"

"What a gorgeous setting! Loved the great room for gathering, we enjoyed playing games in the evenings, kitchen was perfect for cooking together and the proximity to Grand Marais made dining out & shops easy. Kids ski'd during the day and rest of us enjoyed hiking and relaxing. Carrie was very responsive & helpful when we had questions or needed assistance. "My brothers and I started a yearly tradition on doing a brother’s trip. This year we decided to stay in Grand Marais - and I saw this listing and I knew I had to book it asap! MaryKate is a phenomenal host - she walked us through the amazing property and was very responsive via VRBO messenger. I would 10/10 recommend this property to anyone! It’s absolutely gorgeous and you are so close to everything!"

"Larger than it looked!! Beautiful history incorporated throughout the property. History meets modern with the full kitchen, lighting, TV(we didn't need lol), and sauna available. Large dinning area for group meals, games and gathering. Hosts are amazing. Our group walked from property to the beach and down town."

"We just love the farmhouse! We visited the cows daily, hiked to Pincushion Mtn right from the property, drank some fresh milk, played card games, kitchen is well equipped and we made all our meals . This was our 3rd trip to farm, and all 9 of us can’t wait to come back. Thank you , Lyndsay!"

"This was the best stay I've ever had in Grand Marais, and I will be making it my go-to for future solo (with dog) retreats up north. One word sums up the Studio: COZY. I came in winter, and that's what I needed. Lynn did everything to make this spacious studio cozy, even turning up the water heater so that the faucets produced very hot water when it was subzero outside! The overhead track lighting in the Studio made the space warm and inviting throughout. I will stay in the summer too to enjoy...

"Very nice, newly renovated apartment just a few blocks from the harbor. Very clean. New Paint. Neat, unusual rough sawn log wall in Dining room. Only issues were: No BUILDING # 20 outside that we could see and no exterior photo of building front so hard to make sure we were at the right place and no #2 Unit # on the door as stated. No ice, no ice cube trays to make any either. Very limited supplies. Only 1 roll of toilet paper and no spare paper towels which we ran out of. Host quickly...
