If you are looking for a place to get away from it all, then this cottage rental is perfect for you! It is nestled on the bank of a 110-acre watershed lake (Banker’s Lake) in western Kentucky.
Fishing, canoeing and kayaking are just steps away from the porch of this quaint little cottage. The use of canoes, kayaks, paddles, and life jackets is included with the rental. There is also a small beach area for children and a fire pit with wood provided.
It is a wonderful place to relax and recharge from the hustle and bustle of your daily routine. Whether it be a small family escape or a romantic weekend getaway, you owe it to yourself to slow down, recharge and spend quality time with the ones you love.
This rental is conveniently located just minutes away from Pennyrile State Park and only an hour drive from Land Between the Lakes (Kentucky and Barkley Lakes). It is less than 10 miles from Burdoc Farms (wedding venue), so this is a great place for out of town wedding guests.
This cottage comes furnished with appliances, dishware, gas grill, towels, washer/dryer and dvd player w/ 40” television. A blow up mattress is also available to those who would like to bring an additional guest above the listed 3 sleeping spaces. Pets are also welcome for a small additional fee. NOTE FOR PET OWNERS - If you plan to bring more than one pet, please contact owner for a discussion about additional charges for those extra pets.

BOOK THIS PROPERTY! Such an incredible stay!It was peaceful, private, and cozy!Reminded me of staying with my grandparents when I was younger. It has all the cooking supplies and quilts you would ever need. The cast iron cook set and all in one vintage kitchenette drove it home for me. This cabin sits with a beautiful sunset and sunrise view over the lake. It has the perfect mix of off grid and modern convenience. You have the option to unplug and unwind with so many board games and books to choose from, or to stay connected with good WiFi and watch Netflix.Worth every penny plus some! We are 3 disabled veterans traveling with our service animals. The cabin was pet friendly, host were kind and accommodating. We will remember this trip for a lifetime and will be booking again! 10/10!!!!

Perfect cozy cabin to stay at during our wedding weekend at Burdoc farms! Instructions from host were clear, the space was perfectly accommodating, and the scenery was gorgeous and private. We loved it!

What a cute little cabin! There is a small loft in the living room area where my 3 1/2 year-old granddaughter spent a lot of time with her toys and iPad. She loved it up there.The kitchen had everything we needed with a cut out where we could talk to each other from the front room to the kitchen.Loved how the kitchen door went right out to a deck with plenty of seating and a table. The front porch was perfect for morning, coffees, and afternoon wine. The view was beautiful, and the baby played in the leaves and the hammock! Our hosts were terrific! Check-in was so easy and the cabin was clean and ready. We loved it and my daughter and I plan to go back again!

The pet friendly cabin is small but very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. Everything was in working order. Although the air conditioner worked well it was a bit annoying at night as it was loud and would shut off when reaching the desired temperature and then come back on loudly which jolted us awake throughout the night. There’s a cute loft, which could sleep a child. The deck is spacious with a nice view of the lake. The host was ever accommodating. It’s a very peaceful and quiet setting. We would return.

We had an enjoyable stay and the host was friendly and responsive. We saw many deer and a bald eagle during our stay. The cabin sits back away from the lake not on the shore and is partially blocked by a new home being built just a couple of hundred feet away. This is a public lake where we saw numerous fisherman with their boats come all different times of the day. They had to use the same driveway as we and the other residents nearby used to launch their boats. Would have liked to seen additional pictures of the cabin and property before we booked as that would have made a difference in our decision to stay. I believe the limited pictures were intentional. The listing says the cabin is “No Smoking” however, the cigarette smoke smell was quite strong. We had to leave the doors open to help with the odor. With that said, my wife and I still had a good time, we just wish the cabin was listed accurately.

Wonderful get away!

We absolutely loved staying here! The description is accurate, so I won't go into detail there. The cabin is in a fanatic location if you are looking to get away from it all. Very private, beautiful view of the lake. No one bothered us while we were there, which was exactly what we wanted. We will definitely come back!

Sweet Serenity

Thank you so much! My husband and I shared a month of perfect peace and quiet, playing games on the deck as we watched the sun set over a beautiful lake, and taking strolls along its shore. We so appreciated our time alone together in such a serene setting.

So peaceful and quiet!

This cottage was the perfect end of summer getaway. We loved the property and exploring the area. Our dogs especially loved the property! The sunrises over the lake were amazing. The small size was perfect for us!
