Comrie is a wonderful base for families and visitors looking to explore Perthshire’s landscapes, with glens, mountains, rivers, waterfalls and wildlife all within easy reach.

Inside, the traditional cottage has been thoughtfully updated to create a bright and welcoming space. The comfortable living room features two sofas and a television with Freeview, making it a relaxing place to unwind after a day exploring the area. A separate dining room with seating for six leads through to the modern, fully equipped kitchen, which provides everything needed for a self catering stay.

The cottage offers three bedrooms, including one king size room and two twin rooms, making it ideal for families or small groups. One of the twin rooms benefits from an en suite shower room, while the main family bathroom includes a shower over the bath.

Outside, there is a neat and spacious enclosed garden. The cottage’s position beside the river means you can enjoy uninterrupted views from the front of the property while still being close to the heart of the village.

Location

Earnside Cottage is tucked just behind Comrie High Street, offering a peaceful setting within easy walking distance of local restaurants, pubs and independent shops. Comrie sits at the meeting point of Glen Lednock and Glen Artney, making it an excellent base for exploring the surrounding countryside.

The nearby town of Crieff is around six miles away and offers a wider selection of cafés, shops and restaurants. Visitors can also explore attractions such as The Famous Grouse Experience at Glenturret Distillery and the Caithness Glass Visitor Centre.

Families may enjoy a visit to Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre, while a day trip to Perth offers the chance to explore the historic Scone Palace or walk along the River Tay.

Perthshire is particularly well known for walking, with routes for all abilities including the Glen Lednock Circular Walk in Comrie and Lady Mary’s Walk in Crieff, as well as nearby Munros such as Ben Vorlich and Ben Chonzie. Cyclists and mountain bikers can visit Comrie Croft, while water sports enthusiasts may enjoy activities at Lochearn Wake School.

Please note that between January and March 2025 the Comrie Flood Prevention Team will be carrying out works near the front garden of the property. This is expected to cause minimal disruption during your stay.
