  • Set in a peaceful location with beautiful views, Cherry Cottage offers the perfect retreat, with a cosy wood burner and an abundance of picturesque walks.. 1 step to entrance.

    Wet Room: Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Superfast fibre Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Welcome pack and doggie extras. Lawned garden with patio and barbecue. 1 acre natural grounds (shared with other guests). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Enjoying a great location in the grounds of the owner’s home, these charming properties (UKC3990 and UKC1812) are accessed via a farm track and are in a lovely peaceful location away from it all. Situated on the border of Somerset and Dorset, making these properites ideal for enjoying both counties.

    Nearby is a wealth of attractions including Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum, the Haynes Motor Museum with its classic collections of cars, Forde Abbey and Gardens and a few nature reserves. Visit historical houses such as Montacute or the scenic World Heritage Jurassic Coast and seaside resorts of Lyme Regis, West Bay and Weymouth.

    Inland you can visit the ever popular Clarks Factory Village, the enchanting Glastonbury Tor and Abbey, the cathedral cities of Wells and Bath, and the amazing Cheddar Gorge and caves. On your return, relax and enjoy a barbecue in this peaceful location, or take a country walk with the dog. Within easy driving distance there is golf, fishing and many country village pubs to wine and dine in. Beach 13 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

Once again Cherry Cottage has been a lovely place to stay.The owners go above and beyond in making it a place like home. All the extras and hamper are exceptional.This is our third visit and we highly recommend to others if u want a peaceful and comfortable holiday.

A wonderful little cottage surrounded by nothing but countryside and nature. The dogs loved running around the paddock and if you want to just recharge this is perfect getaway.

Lovely well kept, well furnished and well accessorised cottage in a lovely quiet location.

Lovely well kept, well furnished and well accessorised cottage in a lovely quiet location. Loved the bird feeders dotted around the gardens to sit and watch the birds. Everything was really good quality - towels and bedding, furnishings etc, beds were comfy and complimentary welcome pack and smellies were a really thoughtful touch. Very long stony drive to property which didn’t bother us but may be a problem for others and WiFi isn’t strong. Great location for exploring Somerset/Dorset/Devon. Would definitely recommend.
