The Space:

This fantastic 4-bedroom, 3-bath renovated condo at the Chateaux is warm, comfortable, and just steps from the slopes—an ideal launchpad for your Crested Butte adventures.



The fully renovated kitchen comes equipped with everything you need to cook any meal, opening onto a dining table that seats 6 plus additional bar seating for 4. The living room offers a wood-burning fireplace and a comfortable couch for relaxing after a day on the mountain, with complimentary firewood and Wi-Fi provided through the HOA.



All bedrooms include a TV. The primary bedroom and first guest room each feature a king bed and ensuite bath, while two additional bedrooms across from the dining area share a full bath—one with a queen bed, the other a bunk room with a twin-over-full bunk and a VHS/DVD player to keep kids entertained. A video library and family games in the living room round out the entertainment options, and a coin-operated washer and dryer are available on the building's second floor.



The Chateaux complex boasts one of the only outdoor heated pools in the area, operating through both ski and summer seasons (typically closing after ski season and reopening the third week of June through Labor Day). The complex also includes a hot tub, sauna, BBQ grill, and dressing rooms, which follow the same seasonal schedule and stay open through September.



All of our kitchens are fully stocked with pots, pans, cookware and utensils. While most properties have salt, pepper, and basic cooking pantry items, we do not guarantee these will be available upon arrival.



No bikes are allowed in the Chateaux buildings or condos.  The HOA will fine you $100/day if they find that you are bringing your bike inside or if you have a pet with you.  Bikes must be parked outside the building in the racks or on your car.



Please note that the pool/hot tub/sauna area is open seasonally.  Typically it is open in season - winter season opening day to closing day and then will reopen late May or early June through Labor Day. For summer 2025 the pool will reopen for Memorial Day weekend.  The pool will be closed 10/1/26 until 11/25/26.



The condo is on the bus route to the ski area and it runs through the complex every 20 minutes in the winter with 2 convenient stops on the property.



Guests 25 years or older are welcome.  Those younger are welcome with their parent or guardian.

Please note that we do count all children and infants in the headcount for the property.

PARKING:

1. All authorized vehicles must be properly permitted by Association management prior to parking in the parking area. Permits must be appropriately displayed for easy viewing. Usual display of the permit is attachment to the inside rear view mirror.

2. Not more than two motor vehicles (cars, trucks, and vans only) shall be allowed on the property for each condo unit.

3. No motorized vehicles shall remain parked upon the property unless the same is in good working order and used for actual transportation.

4. No recreational equipment or trailers shall be parked, stored or maintained on the property by any owners, guests, or renters. Temporary parking, not to exceed four days, of such vehicles must be approved by management and be properly permitted.

5. Designated parking areas are the only areas in which parking is permitted. Vehicles parked in non-designated areas may be towed at the owner’s expense.

6. No commercial vehicles and no trucks shall be parked on any road within the Condominium Project except when temporarily engaged in transport to or from a condominium unit. For the purpose of this Rule, a ¾ - ton or smaller vehicle, commonly known as a pickup truck, shall not be deemed to be a commercial vehicle or truck. The exception to this rule is an emergency vehicle meeting the following criteria:

a) Any unit owner required by his or her employer to have an emergency vehicle at his or her residence during designated times b) The vehicle weighs ten thousand pounds or less;

c) The unit owner is a member of a volunteer fire department or an emergency service provider*;

d) The vehicle has an official emblem or visible markings of an emergency service provider; and

e) Parking the vehicle will not obstruct emergency access or interfere with the reasonable needs of the other residents to use the community’s drives and parking.



Guest Access:

Check-in instructions including your lockbox code will be sent to you 3 days prior to your arrival at 4 PM MST.



The Neighborhood:

The Chateaux is about mid-way up Mt. Crested Butte and about a 5 minute walk to the base area.



Getting Around:

There is a shuttle that runs through the parking lot that will pick up guests and take them to the base area. From the base area you can get on the Town Shuttle which will take you to the town of Crested Butte.
