The Space:
This fabulous dog friendly 4BD/3BA home is located in the Meridian Lake subdivision between the towns of Mt. Crested Butte and Crested Butte. Crested Butte Mountain Resort, where you can ski or ride, is only 5 minutes away while the historic mining town of Crested Butte is about 7 minutes away.

This classic home is set up with an expansive great room with a gas fireplace, smart tv, kids play area with toys, gaming table and access to a very large deck and gas grill all from the main floor. The great room looks into the fully equipped kitchen so that the chef of the day can continue to converse with everyone while cooking up a fantastic meal. There is also a breakfast nook right next to the kitchen and a large dining area with seating for 8-10 with 2 additional leaves for the table in the house. Also located on this floor is a guest bedroom with a queen bed, a full bathroom with a walk-in shower and a laundry room/office with desk and a full-sized washer and dryer.

On the 2nd floor, you will find the three of the bedrooms. Guest room 2 has a queen bed and guest room 3 has 2 twins with the ability to bridge them into a king bed. Next to these bedrooms is a full-sized shared bath with a tub/shower combo. Down the hall you will find a great kid’s nook with a full size bed (with twin trundle underneath) a futon and a tv set up with a Roku for streaming. Next to the nook is the large primary suite with king bed and a twin bed in the corner in case you want your little one in the room with you. The ensuite bathroom has a very large jetted tub, separate shower and a vanity with double sinks.

On the lower basement level of the house is a fantastic game room with a pool table, ping pong table, dartboard and a basketball shooting machine. A 75 inch TV is perfect for your watching your favorite sporting event or streaming a movie.  

All of our kitchens are fully stocked with pots, pans, cookware and utensils. While most properties have salt, pepper, and basic cooking pantry items, we do not guarantee these will be available upon arrival.

This is a pet friendly property. You are welcome to bring one dog and will be charged a separate pet fee at the time of booking.

This home is located in the center of an outdoor enthusiast’s dream! Long Lake, where you can take the dog or yourself swimming, is literally above the house at the top of the hill. Snodgrass trail is accessible through the neighborhood homeowners trail, perfect for hiking and biking. Located in GMU 55, hunters have access to national forest just up Washington Gulch in search for that perfect elk. Beyond the Washington Gulch trailhead which is a five-minute walk from the house, there’s snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and Nordic skiing during the winter and miles of dirt roads for mountain biking in the summer.

Please do not book if this is something you aren't comfortable with. We would never allow a showing without discussing with you first.

NO SMOKING IS ALLOWED anywhere on the premises. Any evidence of smoke will incur fees.

All of our properties have a 5 night minimum for the main summer of 6/26-8/8/2026 until 1/1/2026 at which point our minimum night stays will be reduced to 3 nights.

Renters 21 years and older are welcome. Children with their parent or guardian are always welcome.
Please note that we do count all children and infants in the headcount for the property.
Please note that there is along term renter in the apt over the garage with no access to the house. The owner lives in a separate apt that is next to the basement game room.
3 parking spaces are available including 1 garage space.
There is a ring door bell at the front door.
Please note that our company does have a separate rental policy that will be emailed to you immediately after booking and this will need to be signed by you. If you wish to see it prior to booking, just send us an email.

Guest Access:
Check-in instructions to include key codes will be sent to you 3 days prior to your arrival by email after 4 pm MST.

The Neighborhood:
Meridian Lake is a subdivision off Washington Gulch Road. It’s a beautiful setting with national forest boundaries and ranches around you. A recreationalists dream, you are minutes from snowmobiling and nordic skiing in the winter and swimming at Long Lake and the end of the coveted Snodgrass Trail in the summer. Only 8 minutes to the base area of the mountain and to the town of Crested Butte.

Getting Around:
You will need a car. You might prefer to have AWD or 4WD but it is not necessary in the summer. 4WD or AWD is necessary in winter months.
