Staff- nice. Amenities in the room- sparse. It was clean, but nothing extra or fancy. Beds were comfortable, but don't expect a 5 star experience. It was a Motel 6 with a beautiful view. Additionally, the host was not rude, but he did not go beyond the exact limit of the contract.

Nice location and comfortable room!

We were late arriving due to weather delay, but had no problems with easy check in. The unit has no AC, but has a box fan and ceiling fan to draw in cool air in the evenings and close up during the heat if the day.Plenty of space in the room and the pool is great. Located right by the town bus for easy travel.

Unit ok, but the overall building needs to cleaned

The grand lodge sounds wonderful and the unit itself was fine. But the carpet throughout needs to be replaced and the pool needs to be scrubbed clean. I wanted to love the place because it is convenient with a large pool. Maybe the homeowners association is planning a major refresh. If they do, I will be back!!

Experience was good enough that we’re looking to buy a unit. Bring extra towels for shower & pool. We had no issue with no AC because overnight lows were in the 50s. Bring a fan & open the window

Great Property, Perfect Location!

I recently stayed at the Grand Lodge in Crested Butte, CO and could not be happier with my experience. My host, Don, was professional and responsive and the check-in process could not have been easier. The Grand Lodge is conveniently located just steps from the base of the mountain and the free shuttle bus to town. My room was spacious with a very comfortable king bed, a table and chairs to work at, as well as a built-in desk, and a kitchenette. There is a lounge area with sofa and chairs in front of a gas fireplace in the lobby. I sat there and enjoyed a glass of wine with a friend by the fire. I highly recommend staying at this property for convenience and comfort while visiting beautiful Crested Butte!

Lodge experience

The room was great, it was big and the kitchenette was perfect for when we wanted to eat in. The location was really convenient for skiing and anything we wanted was close by. Our only problem was the other guests of the hotel on our floor. They played loud music, slammed doors, and yelled until 3am every night of our stay. Security did come up a few times but it didn’t really help. Of course that’s not the property manager’s fault. Just bad luck for us.

Cute and Close to the mountain

Great spot near amenities and skiiing. Room service (cleaning, towels) is not included in the rental, but an on-site contact is supposed to be able to assist. We texted the on-site contact to request the room be vacuumed on Thursday (2 small kiddos spilled cereal) and though we were assured someone would come to vacuum, no one did prior to our leaving the facility Saturday morning. Aside from that small issue, this is a great spot close to all that Mt Crested Butte has to offer.

Short & Sweet

Only there for 3 days, but enjoyed our stay. Good location. Kept fans on all day and night to keep cool. I would suggest a light weight blanket for summer!! We were able to check in early and since we had been in Crested Butte since 10:00 am we greatly appreciated that!!

Easy, safe place to stay with kids

We've used the Grand Lodge three times in the past, but they were out of the Emmons Suite – our standby favorite for quick trips. This rental offers the same suite for less! The same place, with pool access and a top floor view. Pretty simple decision.
