Really nice, secluded feeling spot. Right on the river (a little sketchy to access, but worth it). Very comfortable & spacious-- perfect for a big family getaway. Chris was really easy to get ahold of & accommodating.The yard is AMAZING. Would be perfect in the summer. Overall a very nice place.

Great Redwoods access for a crowd

We stayed at this property very comfortably with 7 adults, 4 kids, and a toddler. The landscaping and river views are beautiful, and the house has everything you need to be a home base for seeing the Redwoods. Some of the best hikes in the Redwoods State and National Parks are just up the road. Host was very responsive. 100% would recommend to friends and family!

This property was very convenient as we did several nearby hikes. Also there were wonderful swimming spots nearby. There were 9 of us and plenty of bedrooms and beds. One night we used the fire pit to make s’mores. We also had a good time playing pool in the evenings. The kitchen was well stocked. WiFi was good as everyone had at least one device and we didn’t have any problems. There was a good selection of DVD’s and games. Overall our family really liked the house and location.

Three generations of our family stayed in this amazing home. Everything is as described and even better. The host’s recommended areas for possible seal and sea lion sightings and we were not disappointed. The area around this home has everything for experiencing outdoor activities. Great Family Stay near Redwoods & Oregon Coast

My wife & I, our 3 grown kids, their spouses & 3 grandchildren spent a terrific week here in June. The location was perfect to visit many Redwood forest hikes, Oregon Coast beaches, the Battery Point Lighthouse, and many other areas. A week was the perfect length of time to take everyone to an area of the country that most have not visited, making the trip a huge success for everyone. Plenty of bedrooms, great common areas & beautiful view out the back of the property! I've already compiled our 1000 photos for the week & made family videos that will ensure that the week will be talked about for a long time!! :)

The house itself was clean and comfortable with plenty of space for our family (group of 12). The location was a bit tricky, but follow the guidance given to locate the driveway to the property. It would have been nice to have access to the Smith River from the back of the property. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant place to stay and the views were beautiful.

Great Location, great for large get togethers

Had a wonderful stay at this wonderful home with friends and family. Was very impressed also with the great communication with the host and ease of check in and check out. Had a lot of fun playing pool, dining at the large table, enjoying the beautiful view and listening to the sounds of the river. Location is beautiful and private and being able to bring our fur babies with us is always #1. We had everything that we needed there excluding 2 bbqs for grilling. Definitely a must stay for everyone!

Great Family Vacation Spot on the Smith River

This VRBO feels like you are staying at a friends home -- the furniture feels cozy, the house set up is fantastic for a large family gathering, and the kitchen is well appointed for preparing meals. There are 4 comfortable bedrooms with queen sized beds (3 overlooking the river) and one bunk room with 4 twin beds, two large dining areas, and a comfortable family room with a warm fireplace. We had a great weekend at the house with 6 kids and 6 adults since it was pouring rain outside and miserably cold (typical for a March weekend). If we revisit the area, we would stay here again.

Chris was great to work with and very friendly as was his son who showed us the ropes. Being right in the Smith River was fantastic and we were still close to the ocean. The property was peacful and relaxing. My family and I loved it and would highly recommend.

Wonderful house in a beautiful place with amazing views. Plenty of room for everyone and great kitchen and dining area for family meals. The solarium with the pool table was so fun! The river access is pretty steep but the river is absolutely beautiful. We were not able to bring our paddle boards or kayaks down there but there are spots where you can put in close to the house.

Relax by the River

We truly enjoyed our stay at this home. It was spacious enough for our large group and had plenty of gathering spots so we never felt like we were sitting on top of each other. Having the windows open to hear the river was so relaxing! We had everything we needed and the beds were so comfortable.
