Esta es una propiedad de un acre ubicada en el hermoso río Smith. Tenemos mucho espacio para correr y jugar para los niños. Tenemos una variedad de divertidos juegos de patio para disfrutar mientras visita. Esta es una acogedora casa estilo cabaña con estufa de leña en una sala de estar y una chimenea de gas en la otra. La casa de cuatro dormitorios y tres baños ofrece muchos y cómodos arreglos para dormir para 10 personas. La casa principal tiene tres dormitorios. El cuarto dormitorio es una suite individual con dos camas queen, baño completo y área de lavandería.     La propiedad retrocede a las cristalinas aguas azules del río Smith con un sendero corto y fácil hasta el agua. Hay un divertido aterrizaje en roca para disfrutar del agua para pescar, nadar, flotar o navegar en kayak. Hay una parrilla al aire libre y una fogata de propano disponible. Hay varias rutas de senderismo en toda la zona cercana. El Parque Estatal Jed Smith y el área para acampar se encuentran a unos 8 kilómetros de la carretera. Estamos a unos 10 minutos en coche del Océano Pacífico y las playas. La hermosa costa de Oregon está a solo 20 millas de la carretera. Loved this place! Had it's own separate little spot for the kids to sleep. Awesome views. The river was a lot of fun. Incredible experience!

Great setting on the river!

Great place to stay when in that part of beautiful Northern California. Wonderful patio set up with views of the Smith River. Lots of room and well set up for guests.

Traveling amongst the redwoods.

Very nice location, peaceful sitting out in the sun looking out over the river. Access to lots of redwoods!

Loved our stay at the River's Edge due to the proximity to Jedediah Smith park and Crescent City. The home has a beautiful view of the Smith river. Walking down to the river is relatively easy but I wouldn't say it's a good place to jump in the river to swim. The rocky boulders and deep river area makes it a little harder to go in, unless you're ready to dive into the cold water and then make your way back up the rocks afterward.The kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner and breakfast. We stopped by Walmart every day (10 minute drive) to pick up food. The pantry was sparse, missing oil and some condiments, but not a big deal since we bought some. I recommend it!

Redwoods and Ocean

Overall a good stay. Our first VRBO rental. The house was well stocked with all essentials. Easy access to the Redwoods and ocean beaches.

Beautiful property!!! Worked well for our family! Very relaxing and had the best stocked kitchen I have ever stayed at! I brought extra pots and pans and didn’t even need them! Beds were very comfortable and the whole property was very clean! Stayed with my family and in-laws. I recommend this property.

The view from the home was beautiful. The kids and adults enjoyed all the games (badminton) that are kept in the home. The neighborhood is peaceful and just a short drive from the Redwoods or the beach. We would definitely book this home again!

Family vacation

Our stay was good! All amenities were provided by the host. The house needs some updates and a new well, it was impossible to shower and run any water amd we had 6 people. Other than that it was a great family vacation!

Cozy home on the Smith River

This was a lovely property with plenty of room for all of us, every comfort you could wish for, and every amenity you need; right down to ziploc bags and shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. There are games, a fire table and big windows gaze at the beautiful, clear Smith River. We hope to stay again.

Loved the location, my grandchildren had a great time on the rope swing on the river.

Everything was very nice loved the back yard, very relaxing. We had some great meals using the nice kitchen. I only wish the bathrooms were a bit more updated. All in all we had a great time, it is so beautiful up there. Thanks again!

The house was sparkling clean when we arrived. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and all the beds were very comfortable. There is a wonderful view of the river from the house. Our family loved hanging out by the fire pit in the back yard and watching the trees and the river. I will say that an earlier review that gave the impression that the property is located in an unsafe area is completely unfair and just plain wrong. The houses surrounding the property are well maintained and clearly upscale. The property itself is an older home but has been renovated nicely. Furthermore, the water system that one person complained about has apparently been fixed. It worked beautifully and the tap water tasted normal. I will say the walk down to the river is very difficult because of mud and rocks-- so unless you are very sure footed I would not recommend it. Honestly the river view from the backyard is much more pleasant and the hike down is not worth it. We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

Our stay at Rivers Edge was wonderful. Close to the beaches, which my kids loved the most! Also, close to many beautiful hikes in the redwoods. Plenty of room for everyone. Beautiful view eating breakfast outside looking at the beautiful river. Lots of memories made. Thanks Erin and William!!
