Lakehouse property with private pool + bonus space sleeps 14

Never have a bad day at the lake again! Our home includes a private heated indoor pool and outdoor hot tub overlooking the lake so the fun doesn’t have to stop even if it’s raining. This listing includes our newly renovated bonus space that has a kitchenette, living room and theatre area, and a 2nd private sleeping area with a queen and twin trundle bed. This area is perfect for privacy when two families stay together. The main unit has 2 queen bedrooms, and a queen and twin sleeper sofa. There is also pass through bunk room between the two areas that has a twin over full bunk bed included with this rental. All together there are three floors of living area and enough sleeping space for 14 people so that the whole crew can spread out. The house is located close to the main boating and tubing area of the lake and just off one of the best swim zones on the lake. Fishing on the lake is great and we include a couple kayaks that guests can use. Pontoons are available for rent at the marina. Need something else to do in the area? Why not go hiking or zip lining on one of many scenic trails in the awesome Shawnee National Forest or visit the local wineries. Whether you’re looking for some rustic outdoor adventure or just want to hang out and relax, our property has it all. For smaller parties of up to 8 that don’t need as much room but still want to experience the fun of a lakehouse and private pool and hot tub please see our other listing which is just the main area of the home and sleeps up to 8 but does not include the bonus area or bunk room.

Great place to relax!

Awesome property with private pool and hot tub, lots of room to bring the whole family and then some and great view of the lake. Hope to visit again and bring some more of the family next time.

Great property for a big family or group

Our family really enjoyed this home. Plenty of space to get the family together and lots of beds. The kids loved the pool and the adults enjoyed the hot tub.

We’re very impressed with the amenities on the property. Multiple grills and a stocked kitchen made for easy meal prep; while the pool, kayaks, and hot tub made for a great weekend. Will be staying again!

Fall Break 2024

My husband and I along with our sons and their wives and 3 grandchildren had a great fall break and enjoyed using the indoor pool , hot tub, and even the kayaks! This was our second time staying here and we appreciated all the space, games, etc. that were available!

Great for a bunch of kids!

We had 3 families of 4 in our party. 6 kids between 5-9. The pool was wonderful. Plenty of room to spread out. We had a comfortable stay and the property manager was very responsive with any questions we had. Would stay again for sure.

Fun boating weekend with extended family

We had a wonderful time at this property. The kids, ages 2-18, had so much fun in the private indoor pool and outdoor hot tub. We had four couples, who each had their own bedroom. The large apartment above the garage had a king bed, twin trundle bed and a large sectional sofa, providing ample room for my sister’s family with 5 young kids. The 3 teenagers used the pull out couches in the basement living room. The dock allowed us to pull the pontoon up to the property to load and unload, although the water was too shallow to allow for swimming off the dock. We rented a tritoon boat with a pull behind tube. Everyone had a blast tubing. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed, including a large capacity new washer and dryer. This was a 10 out of ten vacation!!!

Lots of space and private dock

This property was GREAT. Many potted flowers greeted us at the front door. House was very clean and well supplied with pots, pans, and towels. We enjoyed using the kayaks, paddle boat, pool, foosball, grill, and hot tub. There were even life jackets available for our use. It was nice to have a private dock. We rented all the space since there were 12 of us so it was nice to have 2 refrigerators for our cold foods. Large round table accommodated our family of 12 with plates, glasses and utensils for all! Lots of beds but the pullout mattress not too comfortable so we used the air mattress provided instead. We thought the pool temp was a bit cold. There are lots of stairs to navigate to the different areas: basement, deck, bedrooms, pool and dock so it was harder for older members to get around and we had to constantly watch a toddler around the stairs. Host responded to texts immediately.

Family weekend

Once a year our whole family rents a house over President’s Day weekend to hang out. 6 adults, 7 kids. This year we found this house about 2 1/2 hours away. It worked our great! It was clean with plenty of places for everyone to sleep and plenty of bathrooms. The kids loved the pool and the hot tub! It was February, but we ended up with weather in the 50s. The older kids wanted to take the kayaks on the lake and I texted the owner about life jackets. We responded right away and was kind enough to come get them out of the garage for us to use. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. Extra trash bags, toilet paper, spices and a fully stocked kitchen. The house does have kind of a weird set up - you go downstairs, through a room and up more stairs to a little apartment area. The kids claimed that as their own and hooked our Xbox up to the TV up there. You also have to go through a bedroom to get to the pool. None of this is a big deal, just an interesting set up, I’m guessing with additions added on to the house. The pool does have a locked door with keypad code, which is nice if you have small kids. There were some toys/floats in the pool area, too. We had a great weekend here and would stay again!
