We were very upset to find that the restaurant was not open and did not get told of this when booking and before arrival. It was very upsetting after a 10 hr flight to have to walk to another hotel to get a meal.

There was no air conditioning in the rooms during the hot summer. A fan was placed in the room that did not work. Overall was a basic room with not much amenities

There was no air conditioning with our room reaching temperatures of 25 degrees Celsius throughout the night. The fans in the room were not functioning and when asked for replacements we were told there were none available.

This was a place that I used just to sleep for the night before an early flight home. It was very hot and didn’t have A/C however there were two fans provided. One thing to note is that due to the fans needing the outlets there was only a single outlet available for charging or other means. There was also only 1 USB port next to the bedside. Other than that it suited what I needed it for. Bed was comfortable

Really heavy air freshener smell in rooms and hallways (instant headache!), only 1 of each towel so we had to share after a shower, weird entry/drive way with awful speed bumps. Comfy bed, reasonably quiet until 4am when people start getting up and leaving....

I can’t say enough about this charming little INN. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Rooms and property very clean and breakfast was excellent.

85 degrees and No Air in the rooms!! Oh they do give you a fan. I only stayed 1 night so it was manageable but not my ideal place to stay.

The temperature control did NOT allow me to cool the room down. Instructions say "controls the heater operation but cannot cool the room". Room wasovr 80 degrees!

I never write reviews but I have to for this stay. I ended getting REALLY BAD food poisoning during my stay at the property and was up until 3am throwing up (5 times!!) and on the toilet. Understandably I could not move or travel the next day. I missed my flight and had slept till 12pm and was woken up by cleaning and management. I explained to them what happened and how I’d been up all night and I need to pay for another night cause I can’t leave the property let alone MY BED. I was visibly NOT WELL at the door. The front desk lady - ANNA - insisted I leave and vacant the room or pay NOW. She expressed NO CONCERN for me. NOT EVEN A “are you ok???” Or “do you need anything” or “can we help you”? NOTHING. SHE INSISTED I PAY ON THE SPOT OR PACK MY STUFF AND LEAVE. Even after I told her I was going to stay another night and am going to PAY. I just woke up. ANYWAY. THE STAFF ARE SO NOT TRAINED IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. HONESTLY if I could’ve moved hotels I would’ve and not given them anymore of my money but I was too sick and was in bed the rest of the day sleeping. I’m so disgusted by their attitude after being visibly ill and up all night and NO CONCERN FOR THE CUSTOMER YET DEMANDING MONEY ON THE SPOT. THANKS ANNA FOR AN UNBELIEVABLE STAY. never again will I stay at that hotel or recommend to friends / family. Horrible treatment.

Not terrible, but probably there are much better places at the same price. We thought the shuttle bus for the airport was free (it is 5 pounds per person) and that it departed from the hotel. It is not so. You have to wait for it on the road and the reception girl did not give us proper timetable...just suggeested that the taxi was easier. Which infact it is (they have a direct line telephone in the hall). The taxi should have been 20 pounds...we ended up paying 30 (including tip). No air conditiong in the room, just a fan...think about if you stay during the summer with 30 degrees temperature! We also had a bad experience in the morning. Someone tried to run away from the police and was arrested just in front of our room when we were going out to have breakfast. It was quite shocking and frightening. We waited in the room and when we finally got down to have breakfast it was as nothing had happened with the police just outside the entrance... The place is clean and the attendants in the breakfast lounge were extremely polite.

I already told the rep I spoke with that they should modify the description of their property. It is misleading and there is a Gatwick South Premier Inn. This it way too far from the airport. We spent almost 3hours locating the property, only to end up paying more for transport, and we were just left in the road side, with limited lighting, I paved walkway going to the property, no available food to order, no AC which we wouldn’t mind if we didn’t walk too much for being instructed by workers of the airport to take this tram, take the bus, an so on. The receptionists were not even welcoming and told us they couldn’t find our reservation in their system. I showed them my confirmation and even said she will take us in but with them taking a high risk since we do not have confirmation on their end. The area is like in a horror movie. The property is newly renovated but with very limited help, the pictures of manors in the same lot looks dilapidated. For your travelers’ safety, please make sure they have the right ad on the website. I was given rewards of $50 but they took away my rewards for the 2 completed reservations…. Pleas do not fool your clients, too. I have been with Expedia and this so far has been the worst nightmare… in the end, one of your reps said “I’m giving you extra reward on my own.”… yes…but why take the rewards I had for other completed bookings? Just a bad way to insult your clients….
