As you enter you will be greeted by a wall of windows showcasing the amazing view. Sliders lead out to a spacious deck overlooking the shoreline. The living room and kitchen offer plenty of seating for a large group to cook and socialize. The kitchen is fully stocked and opens to a dining area. Main floor offers 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms and lower level has an additional family room, guest bedroom and full bath plus laundry.

Located in Norton Shores, this cottage is minutes from downtown Muskegon and just a short drive to nearby Spring Lake/Grand Haven. Explore these coastal towns and enjoy dining, drinking, and shopping with breweries, boutiques, events, and waterfront dining options that dot the landscape.

There is ample room alongside and in front of the house for 4 or more vehicles.

CANCELLATION POLICY
- Cancel within 48 hours of making your reservation at no charge.
- Cancel 30 days or more in advance, and receive a full refund.
- Cancel 14 days in advance, and receive a 50% refund.
- No refunds for cancellations less than 14 days in advance of reservation start date.

There are no refunds for early departures, reduction of nights rented, or delayed arrivals due to inclement weather or any other factor. Please consider trip insurance to protect your investment.

MANAGEMENT
This property is managed locally by BVW Unsalted Vacations Property Management in Holland, MI. We provide professionally laundered linens, bath and beach towels, a starter supply of paper and cleaning products and after hours emergency maintenance services. All BVW Unsalted Vacations rentals follow local and state tax rules. Your reservation includes applicable taxes, a cleaning fee, and a Damage Protection policy.

"The house was amazing, it accommodated 4 families perfectly. All of the furniture and appliances were in good condition, the layout of the house is really neat, it seemed bigger in person than it did in the pictures. The huge deck had plenty of lounge chairs and a great view of lake Michigan. The beach area in front of the house was pretty much private (when we were there at least), we had the beach to ourselves.. The management company in charge of the property did a good job of communicating leading up to check-in with instructions, wi-fi passwords, door lock keycodes, check-out instructions. Great location, short drives to Downtown Muskegon and Michigan Adventures. All in all a great Michigan vacation."

Fun week

We had seven adults and four children and the house was perfect for our weeks stay. The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of room for us to gather together. The private beach was amazing!

Beach house

It was a wonderful stay for 12 total people. There were 3 families and we each had our own space. Both the kids and adults enjoyed it. It was clean and we cooked in the kitchen, grilled outside, played games, and just relaxed. Our favorite part of course was the view and direct access to the private beach. It definitely gave us a workout on those steps walking back up, but well worth it!

Family gathering

We rented the house to accommodate family and friends gathering for a memorial service. The bedrooms were spacious, and the entire house was clean and well-equipped with everything from blankets to beach towels. There were ample spaces to be together or septate. The expansive deck boasted an unbeatable view, and we were even visited by a pair of bald eagles on two separate days. It was perfect.

Excellent Michigan Beach House!

The house was amazing, it accommodated 4 families perfectly. Lake Michigan Stay in Muskegon

Beautiful and dramatic - well kept. Everything worked out fine for all of us. We had some insects getting in around one of the door frames and the management company sent out pest control to spray. We had no hot water the last day we were there, not sure why.

Annual family weekend

The house had a great layout and the sleeping arrangements were the best we’ve had renting homes over the past 7 years for our group. The view was as amazing. And the access to the beach was safely navigable. My only recommendation would be to put some more attention on the grounds. Since most of our time was spent outside it was easy to critique. Just needed some upkeep….weeds and lots of pruning and trimming.

Location location location!

We had a great stay! This house sits on a gorgeous, quiet, private beach which we enjoyed from sun up until sun down. Yes, there are 80-90 steps to get down to the beach but it didn’t deter us at all. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, as well. The company was in quick communication with us when we had a question and needed some assistance. For anyone traveling with little ones- We traveled with 3 babies under the age of 2 and I will say the house has way more stairs inside than the photographs lead you to believe. There were 5-ish stairs as soon as you walk inside to get up to the bedroom and bathrooms. There were also 3-4 stairs to get down from the kitchen. These were the full length of the room and impossible to block off. There were 8-ish somewhat steep stairs to get downstairs as well. We did find a baby gate which we were able to use over this set of stairs, but the other steps were the length of the room and unable to be blocked. For people traveling with babies who are just learning to walk and navigate stairs this is important to know! We spent A LOT of our indoor time re-directing babies and trying to keep them from playing on the steps, which we didn’t anticipate. Otherwise, a great stay!

Simply Spectacular

This house is amazing. Beautiful beach, easy access from an awesome deck, and all the amenities you need to have a perfect time at the beach. House is close to Grand Haven and Muskegon making it very easy if you want to venture out and visit stores near by. The only recommendation for improvement is the internet which had a low speed and was so spotty that dish network and TV streaming was not really possible. However, cell service was actually decent (for Verizon and AT&T) so despite the internet issues we could still tether the TV and other items to phones without issue. There are instructions and contacts from owner for the internet but we never bothered with it since tethering worked and we were not watching TV much because we were too busy at the BEACH. Stop looking and book, you will not be disappointed.

Great Beach Spot!

The beach here is great, it's very sandy & kids can venture out pretty far before the water gets deep. The views from the deck are pretty nice too, especially at sunset. This property has plenty of space for large groups, our family of 11 never felt crammed on top of each other. The bunk bed room is great for kids. This home has so much more potential. The newer flooring & paint go a long way, but the interior is dated in some areas. A bit more space around the fire pit area would be great too. Overall, a nice property for anyone looking for a beach getaway!

Awesome spot!

This property is well-maintained, exactly as advertised, and hassle-free. The view from the house is breathtaking. The sandy beach and water are kid-friendly with a long slope to deep water as well as sandbars. Excellent swimming. The 85 steps up from the beach are broken up by several landings and presented no problems even for grandparents. There were no beach towels when we arrived, but they were very quickly provided along with an apology when we emailed to ask about them. Very responsive hosts. We hope to stay here again soon.

Multiple Family Trip

The private lake, large windows for a view and location close for food/groceries were wonderful! We did not have hardly any internet connection making it very complicated for phone calls, working at the property or allowing the children to use their tablets. We tried to get this resolved but never got responses from Unsalted Vacations management team during our stay. The home itself has a great layout for groups! The back patio view is stunning. We loved the private beach even with all the stairs leading down. We really enjoyed the home other than the internet making it difficult for us. I do believe the owners should invest in proper blackout curtains for the rooms facing the lake to make putting kids to bed early a lot easier. I also think it would be nice if the downstairs area had a second couch for more seating. Great home. Terrible internet. That was our experience June 2022.
