Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), we have enhanced our cleaning and disinfection procedures, to help give our guests peace of mind during their stay. During this time, when visiting stores and attractions in the area that are open, we ask that all persons please practice social distancing, and be prepared to where a mask.


Located in the heart of the Tioga State Forest, relax and refresh in our recently updated cabin. Miles from nowhere, yet minutes from everywhere. Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen, spacious great room, with sofa, recliner, futon, and sitting chair. A large deck for relaxing with family and friends, watching wildlife, or stargazing at night. After relaxing, take in the beautiful Pa Grand Canyon, Corning Museum Of Glass, antiquing and dining in Wellsboro or Mansfield.
Or step back in time and watch a flick at the restored Victorian theatre in Blossburg.
Many wildlife creatures have been spotted from the deck: including deer, bear, turkey, fox, marten, squirrels and chipmunks. Birds, butterflies and moths, can be seen as well. Enjoy your outdoor activities on the large yard, or take a hike on the private rd. Hiking, biking, and 4 wheeling right from the front door. Fantastic fishing at nearby lakes including Hills Creek State Park, or minutes away from County Bridge park for trout fishing. Just a short walk to access thousands of acres of Tioga Sate Forest for hunting, hiking, or bird watching. Only 5 miles from the Fallbrook water falls.

The cabin was ideal and off a quaint little dirt road. Just as the host mentioned, everyone waves to each other. The property itself was beautiful and well maintained. I love the setup of the fire pit right outside the front door. The stars are exceptional if you catch a clear night! The photos make the cabin look like it's completely isolated but there are some neighbors around. They are far enough away where it feels comfortable to chat by the fire pit and laugh with your friends.

This was a beautiful cabin in a very quiet peaceful location.We enjoyed the quiet, the woods all around us and the wildlife we saw while driving around. The cabin was spotless. The Host could not have been more helpful. He is an excellent communicator and made sure that everything was just so for us. Check in was simple, as was check out.The area is a bit remote (20-25 minutes to town) which is exactly what we were looking for. The porch, the deck and the fire pit were so inviting that we didn't need to really go anywhere. Our host did offer some suggestions of things to see and do locally and we really appreciated it.Don is a fantastic host!

Nice trip

Excellent location to enjoy the outdoors and to get away from noise. We loved the big back porch and fire pit and appreciated the supply of firewood. Our only issue was the master bed mattress was hard as a rock. We slept on the futon after the first night.

We enjoyed our stay however our only complaint would be that there is no AC. We opened the windows in the bedrooms however that resulted in ants climbing through the window screens and into the cabin; a window unit would have made this stay much more comfortable in the summer months. We appreciated the available WIFI as there is no service at this cabin and it allowed us to communicate with our family while here.

Holiday Long Weekend

This is our second time staying at this cabin. We love everything about it. Owner communicates and is very helpful. Cabin is clean and has all the amenities that we need. We can pack light and just relax . My favorite part is the campfire area. I love getting away for a long weekend at Das Good Cabin . We will be back soon !

I needed a couple of days of quiet just to think and this was PERFECT! Don gave excellent recommendations for the hikes int he area, and there were plenty of good places within 30 minutes to eat. I would definitely return!!

Memorial Day Weekend Ride

What an absolutely awesome place! The 4 of us stayed here over the weekend and all of us were quite pleased with how everything was. The owner is extremely helpful and gave us some awesome places to visit and to eat while we were here. I would recommend this cabin to anyone that wants to get away from civilization - very peaceful and quiet - 10/10.

Quiet Getaway

We really enjoyed the beautiful mountains and isolated cabin, and the few deer we had visiting us from time to time. Was very nice to get some hiking in at the PA Grand Canyon and waterfalls. Don was very helpful with all the details and neighborly folks, whom welcomed us with waves along our travels.
