The location is very convenient, situated along the main road directly opposite First Citizens Bank and Scotiabank, and within walking distance of several shops, markets, and food options. Mario’s Pizza and Domino’s are both less than a minute away, which made meals very easy.
The hotel itself is clean and well maintained in terms of housekeeping, and the staff were helpful and accommodating throughout my stay. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a good variety, and the complimentary coffee machine in the lobby was a nice touch.
That said, the property could benefit from some general upkeep and modernization in certain areas.
My main issue was noise. I specifically requested a quiet room and was initially placed on the ground floor away from high-traffic areas, which I appreciated. However, there is a bar on the compound that plays very loud music from around 6:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., and it felt as though it was directly outside my window. The noise level made it very difficult to rest.
When I raised the issue with reception, the staff were understanding and promptly upgraded me to a larger suite on the fourth floor, which was a much better experience.
