Located within the Harrington Lagoon community on the eastern shore of Whidbey Island, Sisters by the Sound welcomes your group with breathtaking sunrises, a prime location, and unbeatable beach access. You’ll be ideally situated within a few miles of the historic town of Coupeville, Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve, the Port Townsend ferry, Fort Casey State Park, and Admiralty Head Lighthouse.

This two-story, 1500 square-foot home is just steps away from the community low-bank beach access, which includes the lagoon, lagoon outlet, and the bay. The waters of Harrington Lagoon are calm and protected and is the home of a large purse of Sand Dollars, which can be easily viewed from a paddle board or kayak. The lagoon is the fishing ground of two Bald Eagles and their eaglets that nest nearby. The lagoon outlet is prized for its body surfing currents that feed the lagoon twice daily. And the bay is our Pacific Northwest playground - enjoy fishing from the beach or rowing out to drop a crab pot (no boat provided) just 100 feet from shore. Clams and mussels are plentiful in this area, and the beach is a treasure chest for rock hounding and leisurely strolls.

Your large deck offers waterfront views, a firepit, and an outdoor dining area. Inside, find a fully-equipped kitchen perfect for cooking, baking, and entertaining in a relaxed beach setting. The large dining table was created with together-time in mind and is ready for all your eating, puzzle, and gaming needs. You’ll also have access to a full-size stacked washer and dryer in the pantry/laundry room.

The great room includes reclining furniture, a large smart TV with Bluetooth sound bar, cozy blankets, and fluffy pillows. Reliable Comcast Internet with Wi-Fi coverage throughout the home provides ample gaming for the kids, and teleworking-ease for adults.

The loft is a relaxing separate space for kids of all ages. Also open concept, it includes two bunk bed sets and a twin daybed, a second smart television, a table for board games/puzzles, and recliners to watch the sunrise with your morning coffee.

With two queen beds, two bunk beds (twin-over-fulls), and an additional twin bed, this gorgeous home can sleep 8 comfortably. A sister rental, Sunny by the Sound, is also available and makes wonderful accommodations for up to 16 (8 in each home).

- Please bring your own boat, kayak, and/or paddle board. Water toys are not included in the cabin rental due to liability.
- Per the Navy's scheduling, there can be flyovers around this home which can be very loud! The schedules are posted 1 week in advance online.
- Please note that infants are considered part of the total guest count under HOA rules.
- 2 pets are allowed at this home. This home allows pets for a fee. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit.

We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.

This property is impressive! Inside, there are all the amenities you may need. The lighting, beds, furniture and kitchen are all comfortable and homey. Large windows provide a clear view for bird watching over the water. Outside, you are right on the lagoon beach with driftwood, rocks, shells, etc. Being landlubbers, signs for access to the outer beach were confusing and we didn’t get clarification until after dark on our last night. The large yard was just what I was hoping for our old dog. She was VERY safe with the double entrance gate, with plenty of room for exercise for both dogs. Being January, we didn’t get to use much outside, but the deck and yard are stocked and ready!Much Thanks to the folks that make the property available and outstanding!

This place was fabulous, even better than expected. Location was very beautiful! I chose this location because of how great it looked and the name: Sisters on the Shore. My sister came and my cousin and the three of us spent three days just having a really good time. Couldn’t have been better, we will be back 😃

Everything about this beach house was perfect! The location is right off of the beach and has a large yard for family gathering that is fenced in (perfect for our dog!). The house itself was very clean and had everything we could need or ask for (thank you for the complimentary pizza in the refrigerator!). The kids loved the house (especially the upstairs bunk area!), and have asked for a repeat stay! We had a tiny issue upon arrival, but called the management team and our call and issue was addressed immediately (I couldn't find the key! Lol). We will definitley be back here; thank you for a wonderful stay!

The Ross Sisters house is pure perfection! It’s on the best location, close to Coupville but far enough away that you really feel like you are on your little oasis. The house was perfectly decorated and had so many homely touches that you truly felt welcomed and cozy. We will definitely be coming back!

What a wonderful stay! We enjoyed the views. We loved walking in the neighborhood around the lagoon. It was close to the Central Whidbey and we used our own e bikes to go to Coupeville and the nearby sculpture park. It was a very dog friendly house. Our lab loved playing fetch in the yard and visiting Double Bluff Beach Dog Park on the south end of the island. We also brought our own kayak and paddle board and dropped them in literally across the street. Our whole family was comfortable in this home. The owners kept a stocked pantry that we were free to use. How nice! Everything you’d expect from Premier Owners.

We stay in places all around the world and this had to be one of the best. TRULY a home away from home. Beautiful location, excellent furnishings, cozy, well stocked kitchen, amazing loft space, and an attention to detail we have never seen. From the moment we walked in to when we left it was just a perfect experience. Waking up to the view of the water and sitting outside with our coffee listening to the birds was just divine. Our pup loved the massive fenced yard and the neighborhood where everybody has or loves dogs. Only suggestion would be a king bed vs. queen.
