Actually, it was better than the listing. It was right on the water, beautiful views. It was very comfortable, very well decorated, everything was available. We hope to be back next time we visit the PNW.

Don't pass up the opportunity to stay here. Recharge, and enjoy the private, quiet beach experience. The only regret is not being able to stay longer. We had it for two nights, but the mountain passes closed down on us and were unable to get over the first night. A genuine Friday the 13th nightmare!
All the nasty weather we encountered on the way over, we were blessed with clear skies with awesome sunset over Olympics and Port Townsend.

Ocean view and can hear the waves from inside. Private beach access and more stable neighborhood private access 2 houses down. Stunning expansive beach. Many kitchen gadgets to cook with. Bed is very comfortable and clean. I wanted to take the towels home. Wish there were blackout curtains. Thermostat resets to mid-50 degrees which made the middle of the night miserable for us due to our baby waking up and not wanting to go back down. We do want to come back. I didn't want to leave.

Fantastic stay. Easy check in and the view does not disappoint. Spacious living space with views of Fort Flaggler, Port Townsend, Ft Casey and Point Wilson Lighthouse. We enjoyed a beach combing walk during low tide. Very close to Coupeville and short drive to Langley for great dinner options.

Beautiful waterfront cottage, outside steps down to the beach. Very peaceful. Can lose power if very windy, but gas fireplace kept us warm. will need to bring shampoo. Overall, a real treasure trove.

The views from this house are amazing! We sat for hours on the deck simply watching the ferries pass by and the ever changing skies over the Olympic Mountain Range. Fully stocked kitchen made cooking a breeze. As an older couple, the only thing I would say is the steps down to the beach are quite steep, however there is an entrance to the beach only a few houses down the road so it wasn’t a problem. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. Very clean and stocked with everthing that we needed. Hosts very helpful. We am still missing that amazing view. A very peaceful, quiet week. Every day enjoyed an eagle or osprey appearance. Access to the beach to beach-comb was so great. Thank you for a perfect week-we would definitely return!

Relaxing Getaway

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! Bruce was super helpful and the house was so clean and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the furniture was cozy. We enjoyed using the propane fire pit too. The view was amazing. It was so cool to wake up and see the ships and surrounding mountains! We would 100% stay here again.

Excellent! Comfortable and an owner that made it easy. Bruce made EXTRA effort to teach us where, what, when, made Whidby Is. So very special. Views to die for, the beach at your back door. Stairs are a little tricky for an 80 year old but well worth the walk down. THANKS! The very best VRBO stay we have had!

Fantastic!

The house was so cozy and comfortable. The living spaces were much more roomy than expected. The views were amazing. Beach access stairs from the house were too steep for us but there was very easy access from the road just a couple houses down. The owners were super kind and accommodating. We highly recommend this property. Loved it!
