Great location and a good stay

Staff-great service. Chairs, bikes, beach towels are a plus although we didn’t end up using those amenities. The pool was a little chilly, didn’t use it. Unfortunately, it rained a lot during our stay. Rooms nice sized but you can tell not a lot of time was put into upgrades/renovation's. The bathrooms are very small, reminded me of a cruise ship bathroom, difficult to sit on the toilet it’s really close to the wall. My fiancé is 6 foot and had to sit sideways, he’s not heavy, so his knees wouldn’t hit the wall. The caulking in the shower had mold. The blackout curtains were old and distressed, they had patches and didn’t really block the light out. We had to ask for extra towels and wash clothes, they had stains or appeared dirty. The elevator is rather small and there is only 1 available. The doors are pretty thin, not well sealed/not cut right with gaps and walking through the hallways you can hear the “happenings” of the other rooms. For some reason at night they turn off the exterior entry light to the lobby, and it’s really dark, I found that odd. Convenient location for beach access, it’s just across the street, plenty of restaurants. Overall decent place,could make minor improvements. They have 4 different buildings, if you are booking multiple rooms be weary, they will try to put you in separate buildings. Luckily they were able to find us 2 rooms in one building on the same floor but initially had us in separate buildings. Wish i had taken pics of the room to share.
