Summit cairn of Cnoc nan Each Cnoc nan Each, hill of the horse, in gaelic 311m gives a superb view. Red deer are often see on the upper slopes of the hills. In summer they avoid the midges found in the valley... the deer move down and in winter and especially early spring are seen on the low ground in Strath Carron.

Moorland slopes of Cairn Eididh towards Loch Carron The wire fencing in foreground divides the Coulags grazings and the deer forest of the Achnashellach estate. Nice local hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Food excellent and nice bar area to relax. Room was nice just a little dated and carpet hoover had a missed a few places, think this is due to large heavy furniture. Bathroom fab! Would defiantly stay again.

Clean room with an incredible view!
Our short 2 nights were splendid. The host was able to greet us and give us a lay of the land. Our room was clean and quiet. A perfect stop to be near Skye and all there is to do there!
