Lodging includes house with two bedrooms, complete kitchen, dining area, comfortable living room, and computer area. We offer high speed internet, 60" TV with cable, netflix, and peacock. Bathroom with shower and tub, laundry room, enclosed back porch and open front porch great for stargazing. Enclosed back porch (heated in winter) to relax and enjoy the evening and sometimes even grazing wildlife. Situated on 1 1/2 acres, ample parking.

Hunting, ATV, snowmobile trails directly behind the house. Literature rack available showing many local attractions.

Handicap Ramp available upon request - house all on one floor!!!

Cozy little place in the mountains. Beautiful area and convenient to shopping. The home offers absolutely everything you need for a staycation away from home. Every little detail is covered to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. Stargazing is optimal and they even have blankets available for you

A wonderful quiet place to stay

This was such a lovely place to stay. Instructions were clear, checking in a breeze, and being greeted with a 2 liter of soda and homemade cupcakes was a real treat. The kitchen was well stocked, including condiments and several frozen pizzas and pot pies were available. I love that there wasn’t a cumbersome list of check-out chores. Richard is a great, thoughtful host who labeled all of the cabinets so everything was easy to find. Thanks to his bin of children’s toys, we made some unexpected memories playing games with our son and were content to just relax and be together instead of out doing things all the time. We would definitely stay here again!

Good spot to start your exploring of the Allegheny Mountains, Cherry Springs park for Star Gazing, and the local town for walking and shopping.

We had a wonderful stay at the quiet cozy home. Everything was so clean. We had a bottle of wine and muffins upon arrival. Snow removal was excellent. The owners were so pleasant and friendly. We would stay again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Peaceful Getaway

This was our second time there this year. The host is great. He stays in touch and is very nice. I love the backyard visitors at night. And how peaceful it is there. Such a wonderful, cozy place to stay.

Home away from home in Potter County!

I wanted to bring my Mom to see the absolutely gorgeous scenery in Potter County and Richard's Quiet Cozy Home was the perfect base for us for the week. The fact that my dog was welcome too was the icing on the cake. It was so comforting to know that while I was hiking and exploring on foot, Mom was able to relax and enjoy all the comforts of home in a place that was comfortable, safe, and had beautiful spaces she could sit and enjoy the surrounding hills and trees. The first few days of our stay were damp and rainy, so it felt great not to be right on top of each other when we couldn't be out and about. The house has everything you need - a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable clean beds, internet, TV/streaming channels, and is pretty quiet considering it is right on route 872. Yes, you could hear cars going by, but the large trees at the edge of the property dampened most of the sound and lights. It was really nice to have the washer and dryer as well, knowing that was there meant I could pack a bit lighter! Richard is so kind and accommodating - answering any and all questions I had, having the house very organized so you knew where to find just about everything, and having instructions on how to work things that might have given my mom a little trouble otherwise. Plus, what a lovely gesture to have fresh-made muffins and a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived! The house was a real home away from home and we will DEFINITELY be booking again! Thanks so much!

Cozy place to stay!

Cozy, quiet place to stay! Hosts went above and beyond to make our anniversary trip special with all the little "extras". Very relaxing location that was exceptionally clean and neat. Entire experience was easy from start to finish. We will definitely be returning in the future.
