  • Smithy Cottage ha sido cuidadosamente renovada a un alto nivel, ofreciendo una gran área de sala de estar / cocina abierta, con dos dormitorios, uno doble y otro doble. Con una chimenea inglenook con estufa multicombustible. Muchas vigas originales y mampostería a la vista, la propiedad es un hermoso lugar para quedarse. Se admiten mascotas para hasta dos perros. A poca distancia de la casa pública local y dos restaurantes, uno de ellos con una estrella Michelin.

    Paseos locales y senderos para bicicletas tejen en toda el área local. En la periferia del Parque Nacional Snowdonia, cerca de Llangollen, Betws Y Coed y Bala, a poca distancia de los senderos de aventura Llandegla One Planet y los senderos de aventura Coed Y Brenin.

    Con Smart TV, Netflix, Wifi, estufa multicombustible, lavadora, lavavajillas, cocina totalmente moderna y electrodomésticos. Ropa de cama y toallas limpias. Cuna de viaje y puerta de escalera disponibles bajo petición.

Absolutely fantastic holiday! A lovely home in a lovely village.Aled was brilliant and fast with any ideas of things to see and do and we loved his horses that were just over the road for a few days of our stay.The hot tub was a great addition to our evenings and we all loved it.Great place with everything we needed and we can't wait to come back!

Eine gemütliches Ferienhäuschen in einem ruhigen Örtchen gelegen, mit einem sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Gastgeber. Aled war immer erreichbar und hat selbst Adapter (EU) für die Steckdosen besorgen können und ein Präsentkorb stand zur Begrüßung auch bereit. Ansonsten war das Haus wie beschrieben, mit Whirlpool, Kaminofen, Waschmaschine, Badewanne usw. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden wiederkommen, sollten wir wiedermal nach Wales fahren.

Lovely cozy cottage. The host left a lovely welcome hamper and visited in person to check in on us.We stayed with a 2 & 7 year old. The children loved the cottage and didn't want to leave.

Amazing!

We had a fantastic half term break here. Great area and gorgeous house. Owners were brilliant and we couldn’t have asked to feel more welcome or at home. Perfect welcome tray for us after our journey and we can’t wait to book again!

Life in the slow lane

Loved this sleepy village - scenic with good walks from stepping out the front door. Hardly any traffic , which is a rare thing these days . Landlord very responsive .

Very cosy cottage

We had a very nice time in this cosy cottage. The host is very friendly. Some minor issues were resolved quickly. The kitchen has everything that could be needed, the beds were comfy and everything was very clean. Thank you very much!

We loved our stay.

Really enjoyed our stay in this lovely traditional cottage. The village is lovely, you can buy your essentials from the village shop (Post Office). The cottage is well situated within the village and there are lovely walks nearby. Although the weather was brilliant, the nights were getting chilly so we welcomed the log burner which kept us nice and cosy. The host was on hand with information about the area and advised us about the best places to visit in this beautiful part of the country. The welcome gifts were really appreciated, thank you to the owners. We would stay again.

Lovely Christmas Break

Really appreciated the Christmas decorations and exceptional welcome pack. Cottage lovely and clean with a little garden, that would have been most practical in more suitable weather. The log burner was superb. Good village shop that was not overpriced for logs. Looked like it was well stocked with most things you could need. The only negative to the whole trip was the permanent closure of the local pub. It was a shame that we could not meet the locals for a chat and a little drink.

Well enjoyed break

Cottage is well equipped, comfortable, warm and cosy. Owner is very nice and caring. He responded immediately to our small concern. Lovely village. Cottage is opposite a lovely restaurant, 3 min walk to pub (which was shut unfortunately....locals fundraising to open it up) 5 min walk to a well stocked Post Office. Parking is on a public carpark, parking is free, 1 min walk from cottage. Owner is laying a carpark space by the cottage which will be more convenient. Would recommend staying here. Very comfortable and homely.

Smithy College Review

The cottage itself was located in a beautiful village surrounded by lovely scenery and walks. It was comfortable, clean and an ideal base to explore other scenic spots for hiking or biking. A welcome back of food and drink awaited us which was most welcome after our long journey. Aled the owner made a point of calling to check that all was well and gave us some recommendations of places to visit. The locals were very friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. We had some great evenings of chat, singing and craic with them at the local pub that also serves great food. There is also another restaurant in the village that has superb food. Lovely cottage, and the people very friendly and welcoming. Easy to get to Bala, Llandegla, Langolen, and others, just few minutes drive. Definitely go back.

Holiday saver

Besides a very cosy cottage with a great welcome package and very friendly villagers, Al turned out to be our holiday saver when our car broke down on a Sunday evening in the middle of nowhere. He picked us up and arranged the local garage to fix our car the next day. We felt very much at home!

Ideally placed to explore the beautiful Welsh countryside. A well equipped, cosy, clean cottage in a quiet village with a lovely welcoming pub. Fantastic host. Highly recommend. So much so that we plan to go back in the summer. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Peaceful stay

We have a dog who is very anxious of loud noises especially fireworks. The cottage and location could not have been better. The cottage is in a lovely village in a farming community so there was no fireworks all week including bonfire night. The cottage itself is well presented and had everything we needed. We will definitely consider staying again.

Family Holiday August 2021

We had a fantastic stay at Smithy Cottage, the owner was lovely and suggested lots of places to visit which we did. Whilst the property is in a small quite remote village, it is near enough to larger towns with everything that you need and only short drives to many beaches. We would highly recommend and definitely visit again.

A well equipped, cozy cottage in a great location on the edge of Snowdonia. Fantastic food just down the road at the Dudley Arms also. Highly recommended.

Lovely quaint cottage in quiet relaxing village

Lovely stay in a gorgeous peaceful village in North Wales. Very comfortable, quiet and secluded. Lovely welcome hamper when we arrived. Hosts always on hand to help and recommended good places to eat. Would definitely stay again.

Just what we needed

The cottage offered everything we needed and was in a great location for exploring North Wales. Aled the owner was so helpful and offered great advice regarding places to visit nearby. The village has a great Pub and restaurant and everyone was so friendly and welcoming.

Perfect holiday location

Lovely peaceful location with great walks from the front door and many more a car ride away . On arrival a lovely welcome pack was provided and was much appreciated, the owner was very helpful with any questions we had and was quick to reply . Highly recommend Smithy Cottage and will certainly stay again if visiting this area .
