The first night there was a constant banging sound outside the bedroom window like there was a wooden gate/door opening and shutting by the air conditioning units. And on the second night there was a small dog that had been left alone that was crying and barking for what seemed like all night. The floors are so thin you can hear the neighbors upstairs walking around.

Perfect Location/Not Well Equipped

The most ideal location! The queen bed is extremely hard. Property Management was able to get us a mattress topper before the third night of our stay and that helped. Most hooks were broken and those are needed when at the beach to hang up wet towels and bathing suits. The blankets for the bed were itchy and felt like cardboard. Temperature control was poor. Turning on the AC made the living room freezing but left the bedroom hot. Bring everything you need to cook such as salt and pepper and if you drink coffee bring your own filters. This property served our needs but we will choose a different unit the next time we come down.

I'd give this property a B rating. Useable, but pool didn't seem clean. Had to contact rental company several times to fix rental agreement misinformation, get check in codes, etc.

Charming and quiet

Myself, my fiancé, and my special needs son wanted to go to the beach for a couple of days before seeing my son's dr in Austin. Last minute, hopped on VRBO to find a place on the beach and I found this condo. It was perfect for us. Clean, roomy enough for 3, and right on the beach. Check-in was easy. Had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub at the complex was nice and warm. The people were all friendly. I could not have asked for a better stay! I would highly recommend this condo and Padre Escapes. Thanks for having us and we WILL BE BACK SOON!!!

Fun, relaxing, beach

This property is well maintained. The staff is smiling, responsive, and helpful. It is located basically right on the beach. The pool is a saltwater pool that is heated and shaded in the late afternoon. So relaxing. The beach is clean and numerous small shells wash up with the waves. You can dig a hole and have a campfire on the beach. The chairs on the front porch are the cheap plastic chairs but this is the only bad thing I can say about this unit.
