Reno...The very name exudes a reckless abandon and dedication to the wild side of life. And nothing personifies this attitude better than the Reno Air Races -- the fastest motor sport in the world.
There are several classes of airplanes that race, but the "Unlimited Class" pits the aircraft most people associate with Reno against each other. These highly modified World War II fighter planes scream around a closed course at speeds exceeding 500 mph, just feet apart and yards off the ground. To say the races are "exciting" is the understatement of the century!
Our pet-friendly ($30/dog, per night, up to a maximum of $100 in any month) Reno Air Race room captures this attitude to a "T", with two Queen sized beds, a refrigerator, microwave oven, Single cup (not K-Cup) coffee maker, 32" flat screen HDTV, and our signature "delivered-to-your-room" continental breakfast in the morning, and an easy stroll to the hot tub, swimming pool, and barbecue area, you will be in the lap of luxury!
The Reno Air Race room is decorated with many rare and hard-to-find air race posters, representing 17 years of air racing history. All posters and memorabilia were graciously donated to us by the Reno Air Race Association race organizers during our 2004 flight to the air races.
NOTE: This room adjoins the "Blackbird Room". If you rent both of these lovely rooms, you can open up a common, interior door between them, and have a giant, 4-bed suite!
