You won’t forget the beach is close by at 'See Ya Soon', our stilted 4-bed, 3-bath vacation rental home (sleeps 12), just a quick 5-minute drive from Port Aransas Beach. In fact, with our in-town location, you’re just 5 minutes from anywhere you’d want to be in Port A!

Lots of deck space at the front and back—including 2 private, bedroom balconies—provide an elevated spot to enjoy the Gulf breezes.

INSIDE THE HOUSE

When you step inside, nautical art and a sun-washed, open space will greet you. It’s beach house living at its best—and our home is a brand-new construction!

The spacious, open-concept layout makes it easy to do your own thing and hang out together, too. With 2 dining areas, ultra-soft furnishings, and a flatscreen TV, your group can play cards, watch a movie, cook dinner, make a snack, sink into one of the comfy sofas to read…and still be within conversation distance of each other!

For a little more privacy, grab your book and a drink and take to one of the Adirondack chairs on the big back deck.

At dinnertime, there are not one, but TWO dining tables, with space for up to 14 to sit down to a big meal. Plus, cooking is never easier than in our fully equipped kitchen, which has all cooking and eating necessities and brand-new stainless steel appliances.

The home has 4 bedrooms and sleeps 12 guests total. Since you’re doing the vacation research for everyone, claim the master bedroom for yourself: it has a plush queen bed, its own attached bath with a walk-in shower, and a private balcony for breathing in the sea air as soon as you wake up.

The first guest bedroom is a great choice, too, with another queen bed and another private balcony. The other 2 bedrooms are bunkrooms. One has 2 bunk beds and sleeps 4; the other has a twin-over-full bunk and a trundle and sleeps 3.

A total of 3 full bathrooms means you won’t fight over shower time. We even have an extra OUTDOOR shower for after the beach.

And kids will love the turtle pond right on the property! Enjoy access to the catch and release pond as well as a communal pool.

THE LOCATION

Grab your towels and sand toys and hit the beach! We’re just a quick 5-minute drive to Port Aransas Beach & Park—Texas’s favorite beach!

Hungry? Walk (or take a very quick drive) a few blocks to a variety of local eateries. Everything from fresh seafood to handmade pizza is nearby.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Pool was smaller than it looked. Beds were unstable. Fridge was not cleaned. Towels left in the washing machine. No beach access even though images showed a walk way which was locked. Tvs didnt work well. Needed curtains, blinds didnt keep light out and the complex was well lit so even at night light came in strong. I would not stay here again, not worth it to me.

Worst experience ever!

I would never stay here again. Worst experience and rental we ever had. I spent the most part of the first 3 days on the phone with VRBO or Vacasa. When we arrived we realized there was no toilet paper. I called Vacasa, the management co. and was told there is supposed to be 2 rolls per bathroom. She said she would have the “local staff” bring it out. I also informed them there wasn’t a hair dryer as mentioned as an amenity in the listing. The worst problem was the dishwasher was filled with black mold. I told them that was totally unacceptable and a health issue. The grill was filthy and the igniter switch did not work. Found popcorn under a chair, dirty washcloth on the deck with no chairs, and caked on food on several plates. It took almost 48 hours to get toilet paper, never got the hairdryer, and they finally removed the dishwasher after 48 hours. I had to go and buy a hairdryer . So, for 2 days we had to breath the black mold. They wouldn’t replace the dishwasher. So, I had to wash dishes for 6 days, for 5 teenagers and 2 adults. I fear they are just going to put the dishwasher back in after we left, as they left it downstairs under the house. I realize the property is managed by Vacasa, but I booked through VRBO, and you were of no help. This. property had been reported to the health department last month for the mold. I guess they chose to do nothing about it. Unfortunately I had already paid before I saw that review. I was told by Vacasa that I will be compensated.

Don’t do it

Had to call health department because of code violations with electrical and mold. These have been complained about since 2022 on reviews and still never fixed even though Vacasa said they would.

Great location for our weekend plans!

Wonderful weekend and great location! Wish there would have been actual access to the beach. Also, we were unable to lock the door upon leaving and when we arrived it wasn’t locked either.

Could be great…with a bit more attention

The door lock definitely needs to be REPLACED. Not fixed, not changed the code, - REPLACED! My son-in-law had to climb through the window to get in (a security concern in itself). We tried calling the number we were given, but no answer. After a four hour drive with two small, anxious children, he found the window unlocked and climbed in. I would be willing to bet that the previous guests had problems locking the door and one had to stay inside, lock the door, then climb out the window. I’d bet this because that is the only way we could lock from the outside once we got in. Sean, with Vacasa, came over and tried himself and he couldn’t either. To help, he just gave us the master key and asked us to return it when we leave. ( Which we did.) The key, Sean said, is tricky. It has to be held in just the right place or it won’t lock. After it locks, you have to turn it to a specific spot to get the key out - it took me 10 minutes to get the ket out. So do you see what I mean? I think you need a new lock! I’ve spent a good three hours on the phone trying to get something done about this, practically ruining a good part of an afternoon, and still it is not fixed. I’ve called more than enough times to get it fixed but to no avail. Now it’s the next guest’s problem. The dishwasher - Hey, I’m on vacation too! I don’t want to wash our dishes! The dishwasher is absolutely nasty with black stuff that the cleaning crew should’ve caught. washed our dishes (again) by hand because the dishwasher couldn’t clean them. Like I said, I am on vacation! Two hours washing dishes TWICE is not what I call “fun”. I think the homeowner would be wise to purchase a new one. And until then, at least put a much bigger bottle of dishwashing soap! On the last night, we started the dishwasher at 10pm hoping it would work after I ran a cleaner through it. At 4am and I heard water running. I got up to check, the dishwasher was still working. Below are two pictures(#3 and #4) of what 6 hours of washing had done..nothing was clean! After 6 ho
