Looking for a beachside getaway on the sunny shores of North Padre Island, Corpus Christi, TX? Well, look no further than Salty Moose @ Whitecap Beach! Salty Moose is only a 5-minute stroll away from the beautiful Whitecap Beach. Roll out of bed, grab your beach towel, and be catching some waves before you even finish your morning coffee. 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo, ideal for a family escape or a getaway with your beach-loving pals.

The Salty Moose is a third floor 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo that is accessible by stairs. There are no elevators at Beach Club Condominiums. There is assigned parking for one vehicle with unassigned parking on a first come basis. The Salty Moose is a great Corpus Christi beach condo rental that offers modern beach decor, updated amenities, and plenty of open space for everyone to enjoy. Outside features a balcony to watch the sunset and relax in style. Inside there is a living area with a flat-screen TV, dining room table with seating for six, a full kitchen with all your major appliances. When the day heats up, head outside and enjoy the shared pool with a cold drink by your side and a good book in hand. For the gym-goers in the group, there is a shared fitness facility to get a quick workout in each morning!

Living Area

Salty Moose offers a great space for you to relax after a long day of fun in the sun on North Padre Island. The living area is outfitted with a couch, occasional chair, a large flat panel streaming television, high speed wifi, board games, and a fireplace to set the atmosphere during the cooler winter months. There is central air and heat with a smart thermostat control. Off the living area is a dining table for six as well as three bar stools at the kitchen bar.

Kitchen

The kitchen is equipped with full size stainless steel appliances, skillets, utensils, glasses, plates, bowls, pots and pans, toaster, and keurig k cup coffee maker. There is a full size washer and dryer conveniently located in a closet off the kitchen area.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

The Salty Moose has two bedrooms with a bathroom off each bedroom. Bedroom one offers a comfortable king size bed and streaming television with an updated bathroom tub/shower, vanity, and lavatory. Bedroom two is off the kitchen area and has two Twin over Twin Bunk Beds, streaming television, and Nintendo Wii. The bathroom has tub/shower, vanity, and lavatory. Inside the closet of bedroom two is a queen air mattress. Please let us know if you plan to use the air mattress and we will make sure to have linens available.

Location

The Salty Moose is located in the beach side community of Whitecap Beach on North Padre Island! Grab a fresh juice from Island Squeeze Fresh Juice Bar and Clean Eating before heading out for a day at the beach. Walk to Boathouse Grill for lunch by the waterside on Lake Padre. Take a two-mile drive and discover more restaurants and souvenir shops along the way. Day trips nearby include visiting the Selena Museum, USS Lexington Museum, Hurricane Alley, Texas State Aquarium, or Padre Island National Seashore.

Wonderful Experience

Our stay at the Salty Moose was wonderful!! It was very clean and the location was perfect. We were in walking distance of Whitecap Beach and it was only a 30 minute drive to the USS Lexington, which we also visited on our trip. The accommodations were excellent. There were plenty of towels and bedding. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes. It was perfect for our family of 5. We are already talking about coming back to visit again.

Great Fun For The Whole Family!

This was our second vrbo experience and we loved it! The bunk beds and games were a hit. The space felt very comfortable and homey. We didn't want to leave. The only thing to keep in mind is hauling your stuff up 3 flights of stairs is quite a workout. Also, if you are very hot natured, please be aware that all the bedding is polyester. This bothered me so much I had to go buy cotton sheets just so I could sleep. This may not affect most people, but for those sensitive sleepers out there, note this and take cotton sheets. Otherwise, it was perfect!

Quick beach getaway

Our 3rd time staying at Beach Club, first time in this unit. Everything was very clean. Plenty of beds, blankets, and towels. We love the proximity of the beach and stores. We did have an issue with the thermometer that was locked on 78, but a quick text message and we had someone over to fix it within 30 min. Would definitely stay in this unit again. Thanks for another great beach trip.

Enjoyed our stay!

We loved this condo and will definitely be looking to rent this one again next summer. The property management company was very responsive and helpful. The condo itself was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay. We didn't have little kids with us but we noticed they had several things for little kids like games and little bean bag chairs and I thought that was very thoughtful of them for families with small children. The furniture was very comfortable which is always a huge plus. I guess the only downside for me was the fact that it was so bright because there are no drapes on the windows, just blinds so unless you had a face mask with you, there was no sleeping in. But I always travel with a face mask and next year I'll bring a couple of extra towels or blankets to drape over the windows for my teenagers because we like to sleep in a little on vacay. Also the fact there is so much daylight coming in to the condo makes it a little hot during the day, even with the air conditioning running since there is no celing fan in the living room to circulate air. But thankfully my husband thought to pack a couple of desk fans so we put one in the living room and one in the kitchen during the day and that made it more comfortable for when we came home after a long day at the beach. The appliances seemed new and worked great. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils so cooking was convenient.
