This 2014 built stilt home is loaded - pool, bbq pit, corn hole boards, and ping pong on the ground floor, with a spacious living room and sleeping for eight upstairs. Your family or friends will enjoy making memories as you live the good life by the pool or at the beach!

Master bedroom has a queen bed with private bath and the second bedroom also has a queen bed. The kids' room has a bunk bed with trundle. We have plenty of room for the entire family!

October 2025 update: FALL IS HERE... AND WINTER IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER. WINTER TEXANS WELCOME! Fall and Winter are our favorite times of the year (less crowds and less heat!) The pool can be heated from November through April, so If there's a cold front, turn on the private heated pool! YOU CONTROL THE TEMPRATURE FOR THE HEATED POOL. We are offering CRAZY FAST internet (200mbps) . The restaurants/beaches are fully open and operational and all is quiet on our little street now with construction around us done!

POOL IS HEATED NOVEMBER-APRIL: however, if you want to heat the pool outside of those dates, not a problem - just know it's a $50/day extra fee.

We own both Pura Playa and Pura Sol - identical homes next door to each other- perfect for large, extended families and friends. If this home is booked, check out the other.

Expectations - we expect you to have a great time... You should expect some sand in the pool (you are at the beach!), some wear and tear on our golf cart (you are at the beach!) and a clean vacation rental! We are alway around to help you enjoy your stay, so just let us know if can!

This beach house was a blast! The heated pool was a daily must (and nightly too), and the golf cart made getting to the beach and around town easy and fun. The house was comfy, clean, and had everything we needed. Zero stress, maximum vacation vibes. We’d book it again in a heartbeat!

We had an amazing stay at this beach house! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The heated pool and spacious outdoor area were highlights—perfect for lounging, meals, and evenings together. Having a golf cart included was a huge bonus and made getting around so easy. The location is absolutely perfect, with convenient beach access and everything close by. The hosts were responsive and thoughtful, making the entire experience seamless. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Had the BEST time, not far from the beach. The golf cart was broke so they rented us one. Very easy to work with. WILL stay again! Came with ping pong table and pool/beach chairs and toys.

We experienced multiple issues with this property, and the host had little sympathy or professionalism when we presented these issues. Instead, they were disrespectful and never offered a single apology.The main issue was the golf cart. It repeatedly had issues with starting back up after coming to a complete stop. Once it started going it was fine, but as soon as we came to a complete stop we had this issue. When we reported this issue, the host had no sense of urgency to correct it. They unbeknownst to us came by and drove it the next day then messaged saying that it was working fine and told us to “find a sweet spot” on the pedal, and later left a rude voicemail suggesting they will refund us and we can just pack up and leave if we weren’t happy. Instead of fixing the problem, they sent us 300 and told us not to use their cart anymore. So we had to spend over 700 to rent our own. The repairman later confirmed there was, In fact, an issue with the cart. Yet, no acknowledgment nor apology offered by the hosts. On top of that, the Wi-Fi never worked even after going through the troubleshooting guide, and none of the bedroom TV remotes worked either. Almost forgot to mention that the couches are hard and uninviting. If you are looking for a comfy couch to relax on…these are the complete opposite of that. For the price we paid, we expected far better.

This would be a really nice place if the owners spent a little on it. Advertised BBQ pit was horrible. Had to go to Ace hardware and buy our own. Pool fence is all but falling down. Golf cart was almost impossible to start. Pool furniture was pretty sad compared to their next door property. Garden hose had to be thrown away - went to Ace and bought one. Other than that it was enjoyable.Probably won’t rent that unit again. Others on the same street were a lot nicer.

1970s Motel 6 with no update. absolutely awful I did not want to even stay but family talked me out if it. Where to even start: rickety railings on stairs led to fall with broken ankle. Chipped dishes, thin dollar general towels and sheets. No lifeguard ring at pool, nothing to clean pool with ( had to use kids toys to fish out dead bugs). Outdoor showers literally held together with duct tape. Not even kidding. Internet never did work but by the time we got to that no surprise. Joy golf cart loose steering wheel, no decent brakes, back bumper loose and close to falling off. We stay in VRBOs 3-4 x a year. Worst ever by far.

The pool was very clean and overall amazing. Some of the tv’s listed and amenities inside were not working and the remotes were locked onto the nightstand which was kind of weird. The cookware is scratched up and outdated. The community is very nice, the owner was very easy to work with and made sure we had a working golf cart when we arrived. It’s not coastal elegance but for the price with a private pool, nice owner and golf cart included made for a memorable family vacation. We would stay again!!

Perfect house in perfect location

Our 2nd time staying at this house. It’s the perfect size for 5 besties! The pool is great and having the golf cart there is an added bonus! We will be back for year 3 for sure!

Wonderful home

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and had a fantastic time. The home was clean and comfortable. The included golf cart was great for heading to the beach. The kids didn't want to leave. All communication with the host was prompt and helpful. We would readily stay here again.

worth the fees for communication and the golf cart

I was a little hesitant after the high cleaning fee and the pet fee and required insurance, but the host was gracious enough to let us check in pretty early so we could have some beach time after our drive. The golf cart was a huge plus! We didn't even use our car again until it was time to leave. The location is pretty central.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!

Before booking the house we had a few questions and the owners wrote back right away. Great location, close to town and to the beach! When we arrived the house and pool were clean and ready for us to enjoy our vacation. Having the golf cart included made our trip a lot more simple! The pingpong table was super fun to have for the evenings. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. We will for sure be back!

Relaxing Stay

The weather was cruddy, but that didn't matter. Pura Playa has lovely space to relax and enjoy. Short walk to the beach made the dog happy every day. Thanks for hosting!
