Don't forget to book a 6-seater golf cart for just $95 per day! (Only for reservations during September - February). This is perfect for cruising the island or cruising around town!     ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
    • Check-in time is approximate; housekeeping and maintenance make all attempts to be ready by 4 PM, but there is no guarantee.
    • Construction is always happening somewhere in Port Aransas; we can't guarantee that you won't hear/see construction, building, or community improvement projects and events during your stay.
    • Cable/WIFI is provided as a convenience; Port A does experience outages from time to time. There are no refunds for outages of cable/WIFI or if the city pool is closed for cleaning, repair, or maintenance.
    • Please remember that you are on an island; mosquitoes/pests can be plentiful several times per year. Our properties are treated by a professional pest control service every month.

    • We use disinfecting products that meet or exceed CDC performance standards.
    • Every property is stocked with bath towels & washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property, along with one hand towel per bathroom.

Weekend Getaway

My husband and I really enjoy staying at the Oyster House, so much so that this was the second time we’ve rented this property. It’s the perfect location with a private pool and a golf cart, which is an added bonus. We will definitely be renting this unit again.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This was our first time in Port Aransas and this house did not disappoint. It was in the perfect location close to all the restaurants and close enough to the beach. The included golfcart was definitely an added convenient bonus. We will definitely be back

Perfect weekend getaway

Our trip was too short ! We had a ball here. This house was very accommodating, clean, comfortable and relaxing. We loved having the golf cart, and the pool made it so fun. We’ll worth it ! Can’t wait to go back

Oyster House

The beautiful Oyster House is an amazing stay! It’s an incredible place with plenty of tastefully appointed and decorated nooks and crannies. We enjoyed all of the decks and outdoor spaces as well! It has a private pool perfect for kids play or a nice dip. We loved driving to the beach on the golf cart room enough for 6 people and your stuff! You can park it right on the amazing beach! We adored The Oyster House and want to return again soon!

Family getaway

Property was in an ideal location and great for a small group. Highly recommend this property for a group that intends to spend most time outside of the house. The property does use an answering service which is difficult to work with.

Excellent place

This place was immaculately clean, bed was super comfy (we only used the master bedroom), and the patios and decks were awesome. Very close to awesome restaurants, beach is super close, and the bay is a nice little walk. Golf cart was awesome as well. I encourage you to make friends with the neighbor lady. She was soooo sweet and wished us a happy thanksgiving multiple times and even wished us a safe travel home as we were departing. Overall this was an awesome place and we’d love to come back.

Great stay!!

We loved the location, the arrangement of the house, and the outdoor area. We had a great time and really loved the house and tooling around in the golf cart. The small cocktail pool was an extra benefit. We did not experience any issues with the check-in, house, pool, or golf cart. Overall, I would recommend this house highly. Our two small doggies approved the house too and even learned how to climb the stairs during our stay.

Would Stay Again!

The house, pool, golf cart & location to restaurants & the beach are great. House was clean & comfortable, yard was perfect for our little dogs, but wifi was horrible & we had no TV or streaming our entire last day. Had a couple issues with the golf cart but company was quick to come to us (at the beach!) & fix it. Would stay again.

Beautiful property

Beautiful home and immaculate pool. Internet non existent, coffee pot did not work, and we were never able to access the garage. Keypad to open house would stick, took several tries to open. Light under microwave was out, making it very dark trying to use cooktop. Addressed these deficiencies with management company. Morgan was very sweet but nothing was ever done to rectify problems. Won’t stay here again.

Short but sweet

Property is beautiful. I did not like the check in process. It was confusing. And could not figure out AC. Turns out it was broken. The repair man showed up quick and was very professional and nice. Anyway took a long time to cool house down. Then the next day house was hot again apparently elec company had work on the lines and power was off.

Location is perfect

The property is as described except the pool is much smaller than it looks. There are TWO bedrooms & the (3) bunkbeds are in the hallway upstairs, still roomy but no privacy. Excellent photography! It was clean. Kitchen was well stocked. We had everything we needed. WiFi was horrible if nonexistent. As a result no television in living area unless connected to my own hotspot which was frustrating since we had (2) kiddos with us. Very small backyard with artificial turf. Garage had everything needed for lots of fun & golf cart was excellent! Had beach chairs, sand toys & a canopy. Location is amazing! Walked to coffee shop every morning & sat on decks each night listening to live music from SipYard. 3 great outside sitting areas upstairs & down. Restaurants, bars, shopping & ice cream all close walking distance.

Very Disappointing Stay

We arrived to a stifling hot house and while someone came out to fix it, it was after 2am before it was cool enough for any sense of comfort. The following morning, we spent well over an hour trying to find the keys to the golf cart because the instructions said they were in a lockbox in the garage. There is NO lockbox and eventually we found the keys on a random shelf inside the house. This made us late to a reservation and meeting up with friends and really just set a sour note for the day. While the house is gorgeous and we had fun overall, the incidents mentioned above definitely did not sit well.

Misleading listing

This is not a 3 bedroom property. The “3rd bedroom” is the hallway. The 2nd bedroom bed has the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever experienced. The upstairs is HOT! I did email about the AC and the management got back quickly. We only came in at night so I didn’t want to have to be stuck to our house for a day waiting for an AC man. But it’s definitely something that needs to be updated. The unit doesn’t seem big enough to cool the whole house. The “game room” is a garage. And the games looked broken down and not taken care of. All the photos make this look way better than it is. The pool is basically a hot tub and not usable past a certain point in the day. The location was wonderful and check in was easy. But at the price per night it is not worth it. WAY over priced for what you get.

House is beautiful… management company non responsive

We stayed at the oyster house this past weekend, and the house itself was beautiful, but we had numerous issues that I reported the day we checked in and then again the day after. I spoke to three different people on the phone and never received a call back. The grill was filthy and did not have a propane tank so we had to go buy one. I was told when I called Friday that they didn’t know if the house came with one or if I had to bring my own.?.? What the heck??? The golf cart that came with the house for us to use did not have good regular brakes and the parking brake didn’t work at all so we had to take a rock with us to put behind the wheel to keep it from rolling when we went anywhere. The pool was very dirty and had so much chlorine in it that we had to buy my granddaughter goggles just so she could swim in it (burned her eyes). The pool guy came by Saturday morning, but did not clean the pool, I had to get a dead frog out of it after he left. Very disappointed with the customer service (or lack of it) that we received, especially since we spent more money, renting this house than planned because of the golf cart and pool. We definitely left everything (except the pool because we could only get out what the net could get and the golf cart because we weren’t going to fix the brakes) better than we found it. Would not recommend this house as long as the current property management company is in place.

House was very nice but needs attention with cleanliness and maintenance. Pretty disappointing.

Wifi was in and out, tvs not working, remotes were missing, lights out, grass not mowed, yard full of debris, smoke detectors missing, golf cart was left dirty and key hidden in the house that was found days later. Called office 3 times just to have call dropped with no response. Honestly I was very disappointed considering the price. House needs some attention and cleaning. I would not recommend to anyone considering our experience we had. The mattresses need to be replaced as well. Not a good experience. House has a ton of potential but the maintenance and cleaning was terrible.

Summer pre trip

Outstanding place with everything you need from golf cart to pool. It was truly the best place we have stayed in port A. Convenient to everything.

Great place!

Thought it was a 3 bedroom. The bunk beds were in the hallway. Overall it was nice though.

Excellent

I give the whole experience a 9+. It would have been worthy of a 10 but their inaction to a few - minor - requests, after we arrived, went unfulfilled.
