AH-F222, New 2nd Floor Condo, Close to Pool, Hot Tub, Near Marina and Ferry

This new, second-floor condo is located in the back of the complex, across from the shared pool/hot tub area. The entrance to this condo is on the backside of the building. The open living room has ample seating for guests with a sofa sleeper, a love seat, accent chair, TV, cable, and Wi-Fi. The modern kitchen is perfect for practicing your cooking skills with new stainless steel appliances, a Keurig coffee maker, pots, pans, and utensils. There is spacious granite counter space and a bar area for prepping, dining and entertaining with seating for 5. The guest room (BR1) has two Twin beds and a TV. The master bedroom (BR2) has a King-size bed, nightstand, chest, and TV. The shared bathroom has double vanities and a tub/shower combination. The washer/dryer is tucked neatly in a closet in this bathroom which can be accessed by both the living room and the master bedroom. The Marina and Ferry are within walking distance to watch the dolphins. Shops, restaurants, and bars are 0.5 miles away and it is a quick 1.3 miles to the beach.

The apartment was beautiful! Unfortunately, there were multiple maintenance issues that were not fixed in a timely manner (bathroom outlet did not work, remote did not work), which is why I am giving 3 stars.

Girls Trip

We were upset to arrive and there be no toilet paper provided. We’d driven a long way, everyone had to be and we had to immediately get back in the car to go to CVS to get toilet paper. The drain on the shower goes very slowly and the bathtub didn’t really feel very clean. There is only one bathroom and it uses a sliding barn door that adjoins the main bedroom, so there’s not a lot of privacy

Maintenance man walked into our room

I rented this condo for myself and 3 other women. The condo was nice. The floors were messed up a bit and it was kind of dirty/rundown, but overall it was fine. I did not like that the door did not have deadbolt or any extra security while we were inside. On our last day a man walked into the room while we were all in the living room in our pajamas watching movies. He didn't leave immediately or apologize and proceeded to just talk and not leave. It was the scariest thing. I reached out to the owner and nothing has been done. That entire situation freaked out my mom so bad that it had her shaking. She was so happy to be leaving. Our trip was beautiful, but I am shocked at the way it ended. Safety is the most important thing and I felt it wasn't their priority in this condo.

Nice condo in a central location

Enjoyed our stay at this condo. A good size for our family of four with everything we needed. The condo was reasonably clean but needs a deep clean (baseboards, windows & an exterior power wash). I suggest bringing a mosquito fogger... saved us from being eaten up! I would recommend this condo to others looking for a nice, centrally located place to stay.

Good location to beach and town.

We had a great time and enjoyed being close to beach and in town places, restaurants, etc. Condo was nice and spacious, kitchen was updated and had everything we needed to cook. Only thing I can caution on is be prepared to not have privacy in the one bathroom if you’re staying with multiple people in your group. You share it with everyone in your party and the door to the bathroom doesn’t close all the way. Other than that, just enough space for my family of four and good location.

Sad to say would not book again.

We were a family of 4 with two teenage boys. Property was newly remodeled and appearing nice… This property has a lot of monthly rentals…Constant dog barking underneath us. Reported upon checkin the laminate flooring broken and a hole at entrance and can cut your foot. Carpet rug has not been vacuumed, stickers were all in it. Microwave does not work. Dishwasher had dishes on top of utensil rack that had been there so long they were rusted. Sinks in the bathroom do not drain well. And called day two of our stay and were told they only supplied enough rags to get us started. So we then had to do buy washing machine detergent to wash rags and towels. They knew we were staying 3 nights and supplied 4 rags. Finally found armbands needed for the pool on day of checkout located in pantry cabinet. Was not even told where they were. Disappointed and we won’t be staying here again. Have already booked another place for the summer there.

Not a great place to stay!

There were many things that we’re NOT great about this condo! First, was the communication from the property management company, Life in Paradise. I didn’t receive any information on how to check in until the late morning, the day we arrived. I had to call Life in Paradise to find out how to get in the condo. They said they would text me the info. I received no communication on what time check out was and what needed to be done. I had to call Life in Paradise even for their WiFi password. We arrived after 4:30 (check in was at 4:00 pm) and the cleaners were still cleaning the condo. Awkward! The steps and surrounding areas leading up to the front door were filthy (cigarette butts, dirt, trash, bugs, cobwebs). It was not a great welcome! Inside the condo, the vent on the wall was really dirty, as were the ceiling fans. I took pictures of the ceiling fans and you can see the layer of dirt. The carpet didn’t look as it had been vacuumed because we found Chex Mix that wasn’t ours on it! The toilet paper holder was falling off the wall and there was no trash bin in the toilet/shower area, restroom or any of the bedrooms. Furthermore, they only left us 2 rolls of toilet paper, for 4 guests, for 2 1/2 days! In the kitchen we found no kitchen cloths for clean up, no plastic wrap, baggies or aluminum either. We went to use the pool and hot tub our first late afternoon there. I was really excited to sit in the hot tub & relax! The railing to the shallow end of the pool was loose and was not stable. Luckily, no one hurt themselves! The sides of the pool were brown, dirty & needed a good scrub. We wanted to go in the hot tub, however, the bubbles wouldn’t turn on & it wasn’t hot. The railing into the hot tub was also loose. The outside patio/balcony has no chairs to sit on. Our final night there I found a roach in the restroom. I tried to kill it, but it scurried under the washer and dryer (btw…bring your own laundry soap)! The only 2 good things I could think about this condo was…1. How it was decorated in a beach vibe and 2. They provided lots of bathroom towels. I really would have thought that the price per night, plus all of the fee’s, that this condo would be much nicer & cleaner. Major disappointment!

Awesome family vacation

Our family of 4 had an awesome weeklong stay. Life in Paradise did an excellent job with great recommendations along with easy check-in/check-out plus golf cart rental. Convenient to everything.

Great customer service

The beds were comfortable and it was mostly clean. I also had lost a necklace at the pool, and I was very thankful they found it and I was able to get it at the office. The check in and check out process was really easy too. There were some crumbs on the counters and the tub could use a magic eraser. The toilet plunger looked like it had dirty toilet paper on it. Other than that though, it had everything we needed.

The stay was comfortable but the exteriors were really dirty ! Dust and insects and ants just at the door step makes it dirty to even enter. Please keep exteriors clean too. We had mosquitoes and some electrical issues but that was taken care promptly. The interiors was pretty and nice. Thank you.

Excellent stay

The stay was wonderful. Great location, rental was clean and looks exactly as described. The patio screen door was not working upon arrival and they had someone there to fix it within 10 minutes! Check in was so convenient, they were able to get us checked in via email and text so we didn’t have to go into the office. All in all, great trip and highly recommend!

Would stay here-

Would definitely stay here again! Great location, quiet neighborhood. Even though the view of them is somewhat blocked you can still the ships and ferries coming and going from the deck. It’s a short drive to the grocery store and the restaurants are plentiful in the area. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need to prepare a meal. The king sized bed was really comfortable, I would love to have that mattress in my own house. The downside to this property......the microwave does not work so plan on heating leftovers up the old fashioned way.

Decor was adorable and new. That was great but the smaller bedroom had ants in the bed and the microwave while new didn't heat.
