"Convenient hotel in Santiago. Easy check in with excellent English speaking staff member. Comfy and quiet room easily walkable to centre of town. Parking not included and nearby car parks are usual Spanish town centre prices but that is just the way things are in Spain. Hotel can arrange parking if you book in advance though (we didn’t have the sense to!). Some friendly local bars and other shops close by. Enjoyable stay!"
"This is a small family run hotel. It’s a 10 minute walk into the old town and 15 minute walk to the train station. The rooms are comfortable and cleaned everyday. The hotel does not offer food but there is a restaurant next door and lots of cafes nearby. Parking is in a 24 hour underground parking lot about a 5 minute walk away. The hotel is an historic building but sympathetically renovated. Pilgrims walk past the hotel on the way to the cathedral so if you are undertaking the pilgrimage this...
"Hotel algo anticuado en la decoración y ubicado cerca del centro pero si estar en la zona centro nueva de la ciudad o en el casco histórico. Está a unos 10 minutos andando de las calles de la zona céntrica de la ciudad y a unos 15 minutos de la zona antigua.
Hotel grande y con buena atención al cliente. El desayuno algo caro. Está en una zona residencial con el campus universitario sur enfrente.
Las habitaciones son amplias (aunque ya indiqué que algo anticuadas). "

"A 10-15 minute walk from the centre brings you to this place. When Santiago is heaving with pilgrims and tourists this is a real find. Away from the noise and crowds it's a peaceful place. My room was comfortable and it and the whole place very clean. The staff are what makes the difference. They are so friendly and helpful.
The added bonus is a simple kitchen and a place to sit and eat or relax outside your room. There's even a quiet outside area to take time out.
