A holiday to celebrate my 50th.

Villa Eleni is the perfect place for a medium-sized or large group holiday and base to explore Corfu. The villa has a perfect balance between communal areas for socialising and privacy for when one wants a bit of self time on a group visit. The villa has great kitchen facilities, perfect pool for cooling off, within a very close walking distance to all amenities, shops, cafés, bars and restaurants. It is also super close to the beach and beachside attractions. All in all a wonderful stay.

A splendid holiday

It suited us very well with a good size pool (always sparklingly clean) and plenty communal space, both shaded and sunny. If one wanted a bit of seclusion, each room had its own spacious balcony with a sea view. The “steep” drive up, mentioned by others, was no problem to our averagely fit group which included two 76 year olds. Shops and beach are easily walkable. Carine could not have been more kind or helpful with all the arrangements. This was our 5th large family holiday (in France, Spain and Crete) and we all rated it best yet.

Einfach ein toller Urlaub

Wir haben das Abenteuer gewagt und sind mit vier Familien (jeweils zwei Erwachsene + zwei kleine Kinder) für eine Woche in die Villa Eleni eingezogen. Vor allem der Außenbereich ist wirklich fantastisch und auf den Bildern sehr gut eingefangen. Die Zimmer sind völlig in Ordnung, wurden von uns aber tatsächlich nur fürs Schlafen und Duschen verwendet. Es sind viele Restaurants und Tavernen fußläufig zu erreichen. Dabei gilt zu beachten, dass die letzten 150m bis zur Villa sehr steil sind. Die gute Seele des Anwesens ist ein sehr netter Holländer (der !natürlich unter anderem deutsch spricht), der alle zwei Tage den Müll entsorgt und bei Problemen zur Stelle ist. Schöne Grüße an Arno, sofern er das liest. Wir danken für die tolle Unterkunft und den reibungslosen Ablauf. Kleiner Tipp noch: in der Gegend streiten sich mehre Gockel um die Vorherrschaft. Einer davon ist direkt nebenan und sehr laut. Wer einen leichten Schlaf hat, sollte eventuell Ohropax mitnehmen ;-)

Gepflegte Anlage mit großem Pool, gut ausgestatteter Küche und geräumigem, überdachtem Außenbereich zum geselligen Beisammensein. Alle 10 Zimmer mit vernünftiger Ausstattung und sauberem Duschbereich. Zudem ein sehr sympathischer, hilfsbereiter Ansprechpartner vor Ort, der bei Bedarf prompt zur Seite steht. Sehr empfehlenswert für Gruppen/Familien bis max. 20 Personen.

Large Family Group, July 2022

18 of our family stayed at Villa Eleni for 14 days in July 2022. 13 adults, 4 aged 12-14 and a 3 year old and we all agreed it was the best villa we have stayed at. The villa was ideal, the pool was amazing, very large and deep, the steps were great for the non-swimmers, plenty of outdoor space around the pool for the kids to play and loads of sun loungers and other seating areas in the sun and shade. Poolside toilet and shower block was ideal. The outdoor kitchen and eating area was very well equipped and was great for everyone to meet at and the 3 fridges and large freezer gave plenty space for water, juice, food etc. The rooms all being split into separate apartments with most having fridges also was good and meant you also had your own space which was needed at times with such a large group! Carine was a great host, we had to contact her a few times on Whatsapp and she was always very helpful and very quick to respond! She also helped arrange for traditional greek food to be delivered to the villa for us from a local caterer to celebrate a Golden Wedding anniversary and the food was well presented and delicious! The kittens in the grounds of the villa were great entertainment for the 3 year old who didn't want to leave them! We all loved Acharavi as well, very nice and clean town with loads of bars, cafes and restaurants which didn't disappoint. It's a 5 minute walk down the hill to the main street and another 10/15 minute walk from there to the beach where there are great beach bars and restaurants, great to eat dinner with amazing sunsets. The only downside to the villa is the walk back up the hill from the main street which is very steep for the last 150m. This was very tough on my father in law who wasn't able to walk it, the lack of taxis in Acharavi is frustrating but he was helped by Stefanos and Nina in the shop 'Tutti Frutti' at the bottom of the hill who offered to give him a lift up the hill every time he needed it which was amazing! Lovely people, be sure to visit their shop they sell great fruit and nice wines and loads of other homemade stuff. We all loved our stay here and would definitely recommend this villa for large groups, as long as everyone is fit enough for the walk up the hill! Thanks for a great holiday!

Group family holiday

We had an amazing stay at the villa, it was perfect for our large group of 16 adults plus one small child under 2. The pool is huge and there’s so much outdoor space, not to mention the beautiful sea views. The villa is great for large groups to spend time together but also to have their own space and bathrooms etc in individual rooms. We ate at several restaurants in the town and on the beachfront, all lovely and friendly service. We also enjoyed the beach and the sea was great with a little one as was very calm and shallow. Carine was a great host and always replied very quickly to messages. She also helped arrange a meal to be cooked and brought to the villa for a birthday we were celebrating which was very tasty! Thanks for a great stay!

Most amazing pool

The villa was absolutely lovely. All of our group of 17, friends and family couldn't fault the spacious apartments and the most amazing pool we have ever had in a villa rental. The communal area by the pool made the place even more special as it was so well equipped we could all eat and congregate together whilst still having our own private areas in the villa itself. Acharavi is only a few minutes walk away with all the amenities, bars and restaurants . The only downside to the villa is the short 200 metres steep hill coming back up but it won't put us off from renting this villa again. The pool was cleaned 3 times during our 10 day stay and is very large and deep, we all spent many hours enjoying cooling down from the beautiful sun. Would definitely recommend this villa and the welcoming staff who came to clean

we had 10 days at villa elleni at the end of september/ start of october, 14 adults and 1 baby the villa was all we expected plenty of room swam in the pool each day staff very friendly and helpfull, nice views, little bit of a walk to beech but very nice area plenty of resurants we would recomend it to friends and will book again in future,overall very pleased

Family holiday, August 2019

This was a wonderful villa, we stayed as a family group of 18, and all of us enjoyed Villa Eleni immensely. Everything we needed was provided, the rooms gave us all individual space but then the communal area, large kitchen, the garden and the pool were just unbelievable - absolutely perfect. The villa was close to a sandy beach, huge choice of restaurants and shops (the super market even had a selection of gluten free products). One thing to mention, though, is the very steep hill that we had to climb to get back so carrying heavy bags was difficult, it also made us wish we had brought a pushchair for the youngest member of our group, she hadn't needed one for the past year at home but it would have been a good idea for that hill! There was so much to do for all of us, we arranged excursions to the water park, Corfu old town by boat and a scuba diving trip using the companies in town. We also used the bus to get to Roda and Kassiopi. So a car wasn't necessary for our stay in Acharavi. A fabulous team of cleaners and gardeners visited every day, keeping the place clean and beautiful, if we did see them they were very friendly and helpful. I think I can safely say we all had a superb holiday in this fabulous villa, thanks to all involved for providing such a setting. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here and would visit again if the opportunity arose.

wirklich ein sehr schön gepflegtes Haus und Anlage

riesiges Pool, genug Geschirr, Zimmer klein aber sehr hübsch, Bad, WC detto, ausser gardenroom noch nicht renoviert. unser Zentrum war der große überdachte Aussenbereich bei Bar und Küche, nette Deko, viele Spiele und natürlich das wichtigste WIFI für die teenies.

Perfect holiday

Villa Eleni was perfect for our big group of 19. Pool was very good for both kids and adults. Poolside kitchen and dining area were big enough and well equipped. Location uphills was a bit far from the beach but it was very peaceful and views were beautiful. We picked croissants every morning from the bakery and ordered pizzas and gyros some nights to the house. There are nice restaurants in the village also. Carine was very heplful and the tips we got before holiday from her were very useful.

20 members of my family stayed in villa Elanie for a week and we had the holiday of a lifetime. The house is beautiful and the layout gives everyone their own chillout space. Really comfortable beds and fabolous bathrooms.The real highlight for us was the communial area and pool. Really well-equiped kitchen with everything you might need for a large group.Everything sparkling clean.Views of the sea and sunsets added to the overall amazing experience.Yes there is a bit of a steep hill coming up to the house but even people with mobility issues managed it well.We were sad to leave this villa.So thank you Carine and your local staff for all the care and attention we received while on holidays in this truly fantastic villa.

Family special occasion

This is a well equipped, beautiful villa. We were a party of 16 and we all had an incredible time. I would highly recommend this villa. The area has lots of shops, returants and tavernas within walking distance. Along with a large supermarket that has everything you could need. The villa has lots of activities and everything you could need for all ages. One of the best villas I've ever stayed at. We all would definitely return.

Great property for a large family get together

Our family of 20 (16 adults & 4 kids) really enjoyed our week here. The outdoor space is amazing - a big pool and a long table allowing us to all eat together. It's a short walk to the village (although downhill) which has a good selections of supermarkets and restaurants. And just a little further to the beach with more restaurants

The villa is everything it's says it is and more...

The Villa is everything and more, we went with 20 family and friends for the first time August 2018 a mixture fro a 8 month old baby, early twenties to early sixties...there was everything we need along with the friendly house keepers and pool attended...the place was very clean and all the rooms were well kept up with a few homely touches...would recommend it to any big parties and will be looking forward to another visit. The communication and help I received from Carine was brilliant....I would say the only thing we mist was the town it's self we thought had lacked it's Greek authenticate and a little more lively with some Greek music in more of the bars and restaurants....

Wonderful property exceeded all our expectations

There was plenty of room for our group of 16 adults and 4 children. All the rooms were excellent, really comfy large beds, modern bathrooms with good showers and very efficient air conditioning which was a must in the August heat. The outside space was incredible, huge pool, green areas, large shaded terrace area which could seat us all for eating comfortably. Shaded area for the kids to play and even some toys were provided for the children which was really useful, a great hit with the kids. The outside kitchen was huge, loads of crockery, glasses etc and 3 fridges. Amazing property highly recommended. We loved the old village close to the villa some really good restaurants and authentic little bars. We were not so keen on the main road area and beach area which was far more commercial and busy and areas of litter and bins waiting to be collected. But overall a wonderful holiday hope to return in the future.. ..

Amazing place!

As a group of 14 people, we spent 4 days in Villa Eleni and had a very good time. The villa, which, in fact, was previously a boutique hotel, is extremely spacious. The swimming pool is amazingly big and benefits from a stunning view! Rooms are all spacious and clean. Equipment in the villa, and in the kitchen is perfect and well suited for large groups. The villa is also very well located, being close to shops and to the nice beach of Akharavi. There are plenty of restaurants and nice bars all along the beach. Lastly, the owner, Carine, is extremely reactive to mails and messages, making your stay in Villa Eleni very easy and relaxing. We strongly recommend that villa for your holidays!

Villa Eleni, Acharavi, Corfu

Amazing house, very well equipped, fantastic pool. All 12 of our three-generation family had a great time - and there is plenty of room to have time to yourself if that's what you wanted! The garden is large and offers shade if needed. The village and beach are a short distance away and offer a good selection of shops and restaurants. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property for a wonderful holiday.

Uitstekend!

Wij hadden het erg naar ons zin. Het huis is prima. Het grote blauwe luchtbed is heel vaak door de kinderen gebruikt in het zwembad en het zwembad zelf was ook heel fijn. Alles was heel schoon en de bedden zijn ook prima. Al met al een erg leuke week met de hele familie in villa Eleni gehad.
