The ppty is in a spectacular location that greats you with a water view each day. It is remote but that is exactly what you want when you visit Maine.The Master Bdrm has a lovely sitting area to enjoy your morning coffee. The downstairs view is equally as good of the water.While we brought stuff with us you always forget something or another. You can tell the personal touches to ensure guests are comfortable by the things we noted (kitchenware-wrap, foil, napkins, plates, spices). We got a laugh out of the outdoor chairs from Buckee's (huge gas station down south) a place we remember fondly from Daytona Beach where we had a good brisket sandwich.Our visit was in the winter and the house was warm as toast with its radiant heat.

We had a wonderful stay at Hawk’s nest! The property looks even better than what the pictures show, and was clean and well equipped with all the supplies you need! The owners really thought of everything, and are very responsive to any questions you may have. Watching sunrises on the deck is top notch! Highly recommended!

My wife and I cannot say enough amazing things about this property.By far and away the cleanest and most stocked home for your needs then you can ever imagine.Plenty of room as listed and beautiful.Lets now mention the most peaceful and amazing views from their deck that overlooks the ocean.The landscape at high/low tide is so beautiful.Stunning sunrises ,sounds of nature and the passing lobster boats is about the extent of your noise.No shortage of places to see in the area and the views are never ending.We would stay here again without even a thought.Wishing we would have stayed more than 6 nights.

Feel the Northern Coast of Maine

We had a great time discovering the area and all the great local food spots. Acadia National Park won't disappoint. There's a lot to do but it requires a little driving 30 minutes to an hour. Great local restaurants are within 15 minutes at Birch Harbor.

Battery Recharge

We had a wonderful week enjoying the beautiful house, view sunrises and wildlife. It was so enjoyable watching the changing tide and to explore the nearby towns. Acadia is close by and amazing. We were able to recharge our batteries away from everyday stress and truly relax and enjoy.

Wonderful Week at Hawks Nest

We have been vacationing in Maine for 50 years and have grown into a 3 generational family. The house was perfect for all.It was very clean and well equipped, everything that you could want There was great separation between the upstairs and downstairs. The rooms were all large and comfortable. The primary suite was very nice. The setting and view were wonderful and there was much to do. Kayaking was terrific. The upstairs deck was great with ample seating and shade! This is the best rental that we have had and will return. A truly lovely home.

Live love lobstah

We loved the house and property! Beautiful inside and out! Our family of 6 had tons of space! The lobster pot was great to cook our 10 lbs of lobstah from The Lobstore. The house had everything we needed, felt like home away from home. We really enjoyed hiking in the Schoodic peninsula and in Acadia. Would definitely come back again!!

Family Retreat

3 families all convened in Bangor. One from Phoenix, 1 from Charlotte, 1 from Orlando. It was my gift to my children to spend a week together in Maine. We hiked, we ate lobster and ice cream , watched the tide go in and out and did a lot of nothing. The weather was great and the house was perfect for all of us

Great house in a wonderful location!

We had a great stay here. The property is in pristine condition. It is well-configured for two families to be together and still have their own space with two bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs. The deck overlooking the bay is incredible, especially at night when the only visible light was from the lighthouse miles away. If you're looking for a spot for a wonderful vacation in Maine, you've found it here!

Perfect in every way!!!

The house is exactly as described online! The view is beautiful and everything you need is in the home. We went out most days hiking or taking a road trip. Bar Harbor is a little over an hour but the Schoodic area of Acadia is within 15 minutes of the house. We then came back and cooked are dinner at the house. We bought lobster and it was fabulous. If you love lobster don't miss the opportunity to cook your own! I think that was one of the highlights of the trip. We saw an eagle one day. One morning we were greeted in the back yard by a skunk and 2 porcupines, be careful. The furnishings in the home are wonderful. Beds were comfortable! We would not hesitate to rent this house again!!! Thanks for sharing your home.

Great View From The Deck

Very clean and modern with plenty of room for 2 families. The view from the deck is terrific. Lobster boats and wildlife abound. Even watched a seal feed on a school of fish for more than 30 minutes. Fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill allowed us to cook lobster and more. Had a great time!

Beautiful home and views.

We enjoyed our stay close to Schoodic in Acadia National Park. The home was stocked with things lots of people would never think of. It was a peaceful and serene sitting on the balcony watching the water and seeing the locals harvest there catches. Sunrises were beautiful.
