"It's a good stay. Everything is very compact and efficient in this Studio-like hotel room. The appliances (kitchen and laundry) were nothing special but they got the job done. The outlets in the kitchen had child-proofing that worked so well that I couldn't even plug anything in. Thankfully the staff were very kind and were able to send someone to help! The breakfast was a little bare bones (only a handful of selections every morning) but I wasn't really eating there that much anyway. Everything...

"This a basic hotel that is clearly understaffed. Check in was difficult and we couldn’t get into our room for hours after the established check in time. Huge bags of trash and laundry in the halls all day. Things got cleaned up but not in a timely manner."

"Upon checking into the hotel, we were told that the booking we booked through hotel.com was a scam. Evidently American Suites does not exist and uses the same address and phone number as American Inn. There were no rooms available to stay at American Inn. I’m still waiting for my refund."

"Perfect location to stay for parents with kids at University of Iowa. Clean, comfortable, and great staff. Parking garage was well lit and easy to access with room key. Hotel breakfast was great! Coralville river landing is a great area to stay with plenty of food, shopping and entertainment options."

"This hotel is right across from Kinnick Stadium and a three minute drive to University of Iowa hospitals and clinics very conveniently located well priced very clean and nice, knowledgeable and friendly staff would definitely stay again! My husband and I stayed because I had a surgery and they had an available wheelchair for afterwards so I could get back up to our room. Staff was very accommodating."
