  • Greenhaven Farm is situated on 90 acres in beautiful southern West Virginia. The house has 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Guests can enjoy spacious living and dining areas, two porches with outdoor furniture and excellent views, a fully stocked kitchen, fire pit, and more! Greenhaven has satellite TV and good cell reception, but no WiFi access. Take the opportunity to unplug! The property is 10 minutes from Winterplace Ski Resort and near other destinations such as Glade Creek Farm wedding venue, Pipestem State Park, Bluestone State Park, New River Gorge National Park, historic Hinton, and Beckley. Local activities include skiing, whitewater rafting, hiking, fishing, ATV parks, family reunions and many other excursions.

Lovely property that's in the country. The host is very accommodating. At dusk you can watch the deer on the property. And at night sit around the fire pit. The house is furnished in a country decor that makes you fill like you're at a relatives house. We hope to come back many times.

Loved our stay here. House was cozy and accommodating. My only complaint was there was dog hair that got on our clothes. Such a sweet place. Thanks you for having us!

Our family stayed here for a weekend ski trip and it was a great location. The house was well stocked with everything we needed, including extra blankets, towels and all the kitchen supplies. The house is cozy and peaceful! We hope to be back again soon!

Everything was in good condition. The road was scraped, we had no trouble accessing the property during the worst winter I can remember in decades. It is a lovely property, I would love to stay again

Friendly atmosphere, comfortable living arrangements, safe and relaxing during a winter storm while on family ski trip. Plenty of room at great price. Highly recommended staying here!

A Great Escape

What a great getaway. We stayed here for a long weekend just friends and Family enjoying the wilderness and the farm life from the lovely front porch having breakfast out there daily was a highlight of our trip. The home perfect for us clean and well appointed and a great home base not too far from the wild and wonderful .

Did not clearly state that there was no WiFi. Had trouble with getting tv to work. Some trouble with the lock on the door to the house. Contacted property manager by phone and email but did not hear back. House itself was very good. Location good for our reason to be there. GPS took us right to the house.

Wonderful farmhouse and property

We enjoyed the farmhouse so much! Lots of room for our family. The property is beautiful and the porches just call your name. Thanks for including a little bit of history. We saw wild turkeys and lots of songbirds.

Beautiful house near Winterplace

Stayed with family here for a few days and we loved the house and all of the decorations and antiques it had. Great location if you’ll be going to Winterplace, the host was very easy to communicate with. We only had one problem during our stay with drainage in the showers and it was addressed quickly

Ski retreat

We chose this property because it met the needs of our family while we came to ski at Winter Place Ski Resort. The property was clean and stocked with everything we needed. We felt Welcome and at home. We had no problems! We would choose this house again!

Beautiful property close to Winterplace ski resort

Property was beautiful! My family had the best time sledding on the hills and enjoyed warming up next to the fireplace afterwards. I would have given a 5 out of 5 rating except we had a lot trouble with the driveway without AWD/4 wheel. The caretakers went above and beyond

Only 10 minutes off the main road but feels like a 100 years ago when we settled in. In other words feels very remote but is not. The property manager lives just across the road and was very gracious. Brought us extra wood for a fire and some canned goodies. You want to see deer-this is the place. Morning, noon and dusk. They are all over the back and front field. The house is older with some country charm. It was well stocked w food and other stuffs before we arrived and we left other essentials behind since we were flying home. Really enjoyed our stay. Already planning a stay for next summer.
