Great location for our stay for our daughter’s wedding at a nearby venue. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony and the view was great. Everything was clean. We didn’t cook any meals there because we had wedding activities but the kitchen seemed to have all the necessary pots/pans and dishes. It also had a drip and Keurig style coffee maker.

Dilapidated property

This property is located in a run down resort. We were on the third floor - the elevator was broken. When I told the owner she quickly responded it would be fixed that day - didn't happen. Upon arrival we found a ton of small bugs all over the floor. This is on the lake so it's likely a lake issue or it could be the result of holes in the faucet in the bathroom. The faucet in the bathroom off the kitchen was broken in half. There were bugs all in the bathtub and a wasp in there which we cleaned and killed. There was another wasp which we killed in the main room. there was a condom wrapper in the trash can in my son's room. When I went the vrbo app and told the owner she said she would complain to the cleaning ladies. When I said I wanted the sheets cleaned she responded "the sheets aren't cleaned?" The cleaning team never made it by and no resolution was made. I cleaned the floors and the tub and things were more liveable. We were only there three nights. I asked for a phone number so I could talk to the person on the other end and it was never provided. I'm so very disappointed. This property received 9.5 and 9.8/10 on reviews and I knew those were fabricated. I'm not sure I will be using vrbo in the future. Can't believe this happened. I've used vrbo for years but the quality and lack of care and transparency with this property shows me they are not doing a good job vetting their rentals. That's a shame.

On the water

Nice place to stay right on the water at Lake Conroe. I had a great time and a great place. Two negative stuff. Elevator was broken so we had to climb three flights of stairs. Cannot get on the Wi-Fi.

Family vacation

My husband and I plus our 3 kids stayed here. The place was beautiful location was right on the water with gorgeous views off the balcony. We did a little bit of everything. Although we weren't allowed to visit the lighthouse which was a restricted access only gated community. Overall the place itself along with the host was more than perfect. No complaints here.

First off, The Host, Tina, is the best! The condo was clean and comfortable Everything about our stay was fun. The view is Spectacular. If you are a bird watcher, there are plenty of birds to watch!!

Visiting for Renfest

Let me start off by saying that this condo offers a stunning view of Lake Conroe and the Lighthouse. The balcony right on the water was a highlight of the stay! However, there were several issues that made the experience less than ideal. First, the balcony furniture doesn’t match the photos in the listing. I booked this condo intending to stay close to the Texas RenFest, as the listing stated it was 18.61 miles away. In reality, it’s about 34 miles and a 45-minute drive. If I’d known the actual distance, I would have chosen a location closer to the festival to save driving time. The master bed was comfortable, but the pillows were way too firm for a good night’s sleep. Luckily, I had brought my own pillow for the trip from Louisiana. The refrigerator in the room made a loud humming noise, and I had to turn it off during the night because it was too distracting. Additionally, the blinds in the master bedroom were chewed up and broken—likely by a dog—and should have been replaced before renting out the unit. There was no bathroom soap supplied, as advertised, but fortunately, I brought my own. Extra bath towels were oddly stored in the kitchen closet alongside spare toilet paper instead of in the bathroom. The second bedroom wasn’t much better; the girls sleeping there reported the bed was uncomfortable and squeaky. Even the coffee pot was noisy, adding to the list of small inconveniences. Overall, the condo is okay for the price but needs updating!

Room for improvement

Pros: the place had everything we needed and the kitchen was well stocked with the essentials. Communication with host was excellent. Cons: we chose this place because of the balcony with lake view. It was infested with mosquitoes, making it impossible to be outside. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

Wonderful Start to Our Honeymoon

We got married nearby, and needed someplace to stay that night before leaving for the honeymoon. Although the extra bedroom was unnecessary, it still is a beautiful and romantic place for two people. Fantastic view of the lake, and it's a really nice apartment! Definitely would recommend.
