Super spacious creekside country home with lovely open floor plan with fireplace on 1 acre. Huge kitchen and dining table. Great for families, lots of outdoor seating. Exquisite custom bathrooms and oversized laundry room.

This home is super spacious and cozy set back with a touch of texas country and European flare. Super getaway! Wifi, premium bedding, parking, large decks and patios, new interior throughout. This is Texas country and our home is rustic, cozy and although is newly remodled with a new roof and structurally sound, this is Texas country and the home is not a pristine Woodlands penthouse. Come and enjoy!

SMOKING-Strict NO smoking policy. If it is noticeable that smoking of any kind has occured, a fine of $500.00 will be collected.

EVENTS-Events may be considered, if you plan to have an event, please make the reservation for 10 people then check in with us for the additional fees and necessary requirements. Please ensure you list all the people that will be staying on the property. If you are interested in an event or camp, we have another property that may be more suitable. Please inquire.

GUEST BOOKINGS-If there are more guests that arrive than on the reservation, you will be responsible to pay $50 per person per night in excess of reservation booking.

PETS-There is a pet fee of $60 per stay cleaning fee when booking animals on our property. By making this booking, you are accepting the pet fee. The pet fee must be paid prior to check-in. Any pets not listed will be subject to the $100 per night per pet penalty fee as well as the $60 cleaning fee.

GARBAGE- You must take your garbage to the dumpster nearby located at the drivewayof the horse barn located at 13784 Park Ave. Do not leave any garbage outside as animals will scatter it about. You will be responsible for the removal and cleaning of any garage left behind. Thank you!

It’s a lovely home. We stayed at Christmas time and they had a tree up for us which was unexpected. It was a wonderful surprise.

The stay was wonderful. We had a huge revival for 100 churches at the fair grounds. The house was so convenient to the location. We cooked a lot of good meals in the huge, beautiful kitchen for so many people. We are kitchen people and love to cook meals. This was a perfect place. Very quiet and private. No big city noises. Grocery stores, restaurants, mall and gas stations were very close. We enjoyed the stay and would recommend it to everyone

Disappointing Property

We booked this property to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with our family. Sadly it did not happen. The landlord had issues with the housekeeper and we arrived to a dirty property. In addition this property has been neglected. I don’t think the owner is local and probably has not been at this property for a long time. The property is worn and in disrepair. I will say the landlord worked with us and we did receive a partial refund.

Best Family Christmas Texas visit!!!

We stayed at Creekside Country Retreat while visiting our daughters in Texas for Christmas. It was everything we expected and more. The living room was large enough to fit our family for movie nights and game nights, and very warm & comfortable. The huge dining room table fit all of us perfectly. The kitchen island hosted all of our breakfast buffet items with room to spare. Lots of coffee on hand and all the cabinets and drawers contained every useful cooking/dining/bake ware item needed, especially for us to host the family Christmas dinner! Every bed has a very comfy mattress, and the master bedroom & bathroom are HUGE! Both bathrooms were well stocked with TP and towels. Hot showers were had by all. The washer and dryer are super large which is always nice to have/use the day before going home. We spent a lot of time sitting & chit-chatting on the back covered deck and walking around the very big front yard playing with our son's new aerial toys. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful except for the occasional barking dog/braying goat off in the distance. Our son LOVED the pigs next door, especially the large black & white one! Denise is a top-notch host. It is abundantly evident in the care she takes in this home. She quickly answered each and every one of our questions/requests. VERY pleasant to converse with. This was by far one of our BEST stays in Texas.

50th Birthday Celebration

We had an absolute fabulous time. This was so perfect for what our family wanted. The master bathroom is amazing. The dining table is a beautiful fixture. Thank you so much for allowing my family access to your rental. It more than exceeded our expectations.

Great for short stay

Super clean, Great TV, LOVED the kitchen, lots of eating space with huge farmtable, kitchen bar seats AND breakfast table, dear in the yard, etc. Only 5 couch seats though, AC had issues on the second day, the sceptic had issues even though we only put the toilet paper they provided in it, and it sleeps 8, (not 10) with 2 kings, 1 sleeper sofa, and 2 twin beds. The Italian decor was nice (though I didn't appreciate the pictures of the naked woman). The Master bathroom was awesome! And the other bathroom was also nice!

Peaceful setting

Loved our stay! There was an awful odor in one bedroom. It could not be used and we kept the door shut. My son in law thinks there is a dead animal under the house causing the smell.
