  • The holiday home Casa Perezosa is located in the foothills of Andalucia and close to the picturesque village of Competa and boasts beautiful views of the mountains down to the sea, The holiday home consists of a cosy living room with a rustic fireplace, a very well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, 3 bedrooms (2 with Double Beds, one with 2 Single Beds) as well as one bathroom and can therefore accommodate 6 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a washing machine. A highchair and a baby cot are also available upon request. One of the main attractions of the house is its private outdoor area, which consists of a lush garden with garden furniture and sun loungers, a covered terrace with chairs, a outdoor Bar/Kitchen area including barbecue where you can prepare delicious dishes and a generous pool where guests can cool off on warm summer days.
    You will find a wide selection of shops, restaurants, bars and cafes in the local village of Competa just 10 minutes away by car (5km), while the closest beach on Torrox Costa can be reached after a 20-minute drive (16km). The charming city Málaga, birthplace of the famous painter Pablo Picasso, is 45 minutes driving away (45km), while the closest airport can be reached after 48 minutes driving (50km). Private parking is available on the property. Bed linens and towels are included in the price.

    Due to damage caused by previous guests, the jacuzzi is unfortunately no longer available for guests. thank you for your understanding.

    The swimming pool is closed from November to April.

Nous avons passé trois semaines très agréables !L’extérieur, sans aucun vis-à-vis, offre de superbes vues. Le bar et la cuisine d’été nous ont permis de profiter de tous nos repas en plein air, et la piscine est tout simplement parfaite.La maison est propre, bien équipée et la climatisation fonctionne à merveille.Un grand merci à Carl, très disponible et sympathique, toujours présent en cas de besoin.

House in the mountains!

It was a great stay at a very beautiful location. I was disappointed in finding out at the last minute that we would have to pay for the hot tub, daily and when we did pay the hot tub was not hot enough. Other than that, I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful views

This was a lovely stay which is all about the outside space. Gorgeous terrace with outside bar area and very big and clean pool. The villa could do with a bit of a face lift and need new outdoor umbrellas that work but small issues compared to stunning views and get away from it all vibe. Hope to return again Siobhan and Ian

Très bon séjour

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances dans ce logement. Il est idéalement situé dans les montagnes (15mn Torrox / 25 mn de Nerja). L extérieur de la maison est vraiment top (piscine, pergola, barbecue, lampes la nuit). Le salon de la maison est très sympa mais les chambres sont un peu rustiques (literie fatiguée). Ça fait l affaire pour des vacances mais pourrait être amélioré.

Très belle vue de la maison

Visite des environs (Torrox, Compéta et Nerja). Très joli endroit pour se ressourcer. Dommage qu’il y a beaucoup de moustiques et d’abeilles. Quelques stores seraient à remplacer pour avoir plus d’ombre… Bon séjour passé dans la maison.

Heerlijk vakantiehuis

We hebben heel erg genoten van het huis en het zwembad. Het zwembad is top, een diep en ondiep gedeelte en de grootte vh zwembad was perfect. Alles is aanwezig in het huis, de airco's zijn erg prettig. Je kan alleen dvd's/videobanden op tv kijken. De wifi is goed in en rondom het huis. De wasmachine is ook erg fijn.

Lovely stay … stunning views, quiet, peaceful and private .. this is an upside down house .. not an issue but stairs are a bit steep and little bit precarious… I wouldn’t call child friendly. The villa was just a little over 7km not 5km as described, so a little over 10 min drive .. kitchen a bit tired … Carl was a great host and easy contactable… Would visit villa again

Das Haus ist für ungestörte Ferien perfekt gelegen und auch in den Außenbereichen sehr großzügig. Der Empfang durch Carl war äußerst herzlich und unkompliziert! Der Pool war ausreichend groß, hatte verschiedene Tiefenbereiche und erfrischt herrlich nach einen heißen Tag. Ein paar Sachen sollten allerdings in nächster Zeit renoviert werden (Sonnenmarkise und -rollos, Wasserhähne, Schubkästen Küche). Alles in allem ein sehr schönes Haus zum Weiterempfehlen.

Emplacement et vue exceptionnelle.

Emplacement exceptionnel avec des vues incroyables exposition parfaite. Dommage qu il n’y ai pas un frigo plus grand et que le bar de la piscine ne soit pas équipé de plaque électrique pour pouvoir cuisiné en plus du barbecue. Quelques efforts à faire sur l entretien de l extérieur la balancelle toute cassée devrait être sortie. Et ce serait parfait .

Magnificent house. Inside needs some refreshing. Some Kitchen draws and doors are broken. Bed sheets were missing for 1 bed. Otherwise outside is top. We spent all weekend outside. Little outside kitchen & barbecue was top. Needs some deep cleaning and refresh but overall good.

Une vue incroyable !

Nous avons passé un bon séjour, les villes aux alentours, les plages étaient sympa, comme Torrox, Nerja... La maison était belle, le jardin magnifique avec des arbres fruitiers, de belles terrasses qui s'illuminent la nuit. Près de la piscine, il y avait une vue imprenable sur les montagnes et la mer au loin. Les inconvénients : la rampe de la piscine bougeait, la profondeur de la piscine n'était pas adéquate, la climatisation dans le salon ne rafraichissait pas et celle dans le couloir au RDC ne rafraichissait pas les 2 chambres sans climatisation, il fallait mettre des ventilateurs, la cuisine mériterait certaines réparations comme le robinet, les placards... Et vraiment la communication avec le propriétaire n'était pas au rendez-vous, on a pas eu de gros soucis cependant il aurait été convenable de nous rassurer. Sinon c'est une maison que l'on recommande, elle est conforme à l'annonce, il y avait tout le nécessaire, la région est belle, j'espère que nous reviendrons. Je remercie la personne qui est venu récupérer les clefs, un vrai rayon de soleil.

Wow, What a place!

Wow, what a place, what a view! The small road from the main road is a little bit tricky but we got used to it pretty fast. The main road and the road further up the hill on the back of the house is nothing to worry about. Some traffic in the morning and in the afternoon but nothing that is annoying. Garden is mature with both lemontrees and figs in the front and the downhill of the house. Poolarea is fantastic with an amazing view of the valley and the sea. Use some kind of shoes around the pool, the deck gets pretty hot during the day. Pool is just great with a deep and a shallow area. Yes, the kitchen needs some TLC but everything was clean and tidy and it was well equipped for our needs. The beds are a bit stiff but we slept well. Garbage has to be thrown into the bins along the main road or in the villages. Wifi is OK but if you are a family of four or more, you need some 4G on the phone as a complement. Carl answered our questions on Whatsapp and even came around to show us how to turn on the pool lights. Very friendly and always with a smile. Perfect house to explore the surroundings, about 15 mins to Cómpeta and Torrox. We had an amazing two weeks and will definitely follow the development of the house and come back in the near future.

Pros/ Key insights for guests: - Fantastic outdoor space with lovely views and not overlooked. - Well stocked property overall for daily life, including kitchen materials (and leftover non-perishables from previous guests). - We would return to the property, we feel it is good value - Potential guests need be comfortable re property logstics (quite far from nearest corner shop, a trek to coast, windy roads that mean travel takes longer) - Property manager very responsive & helpful Well intended suggestions for further improvements: - Bedrooms downstairs feel dated and basic (note absence of photos) - an upgrade would really elevate the property. - Sliding doors from conservatory very stiff - Removing clutter (eg under sink) & personal items from the owner (eg drawer full of owner paperwork in the lounge) would be really helpful. - Add grip strips to the 2 sets of outdoor steps for wet-weather safety OR provide optional padlocks for the gates as they are dangerout when wet (I injured myself) - Welcome pack would be amazing eg to provide information about facilities (eg hidden wash machine, how best to manage the wasps that ruin outdoor dining intentions) - Can the fallen figs be managed between guests? There were a lot, they kept sticking to our shoes (unavoidable due to volume of them) and they attracted wasps - Getting in and out of the driveway entrance is really tricky, could this be improved? - Fix the drawer fronts in the kitchen that fall off when opening drawer

Guter Service, schöner Außenbereich, innen und bei Sauberkeit mit Luft nach oben

Empfang und Check-In mit Verwalter Carl einfach und schnell. Alles Top. Während der Anwesenheit stand Carl immer schnell zur Verfügung und kümmerte sich. Ausfall des Jacuzzi - am Folgetag behoben. Warmwasserausfall am frühen Abend - am Folgetag behoben. Top Service! Leider bei erster Ansicht des Objektes Ernüchterung. Teils nicht ordentlich geputzt, in den Schränken war Papier ausgelegt und darunter nicht geputzt. Kleine Schäden innen, wie abgeplatze Farbe, Risse, Putzausbesserungen nicht überstrichen und die Elektrik vor allem im "Agua Bereich" der Waschmaschine "abenteuerlich". Wasserhähne in Küche und Bad locker, Schubladen in der Küche defekt und alles recht alt. Die Geruchsbelästigung durch Abfluss im Bad ist teils stark und stört. Im Außenbereich besser, aber auch hier einiges zu tun. Rollo´s im Wintergarten defekt, Markise zerrissen, Sonnenschirm defekt. An der Wand an der Rampe zum Pool ein großer Riss von oben bis unten in der Mauer. Lampen/ Bewegungsmelder kaputt. Die Sauberkeit in der "Außenküche" haarsträubend. Grillrost und gesamte Küche sehr schmutzig und nicht gereinigt, teils ohne Funktion (Herd). Es stehen Chemikalien vom Pool herum. Am oberen Eingang zum Gelände sehr viel Müll abgelegt. Terrasse und Poolbereich entschädigen jedoch. Schön zu sitzen und zu schwimmen, tolle Aussicht, Jacuzzi ist großzügig und schön, gerade Abends. Tolle Beleuchtung für schöne laue Sommerabende. Wenn man hier mal ein wenig Geld und Zeit investiert, wird´s wieder richtig toll.

Què li ha agradat: Neteja, entrada, comunicació, precisió de l’anunci
De ligging van de woning is schitterend met uitzicht op de bergen en de zee. De tuin is heel mooi; we hebben veel gebruik gemaakt van de veranda en de loungehoek bij de keuken. De nieuwe buitenkeuken is een aanwinst, maar hebben we niet gebruikt, omdat alle keukenkastjes en lades leeg bleken te zijn. Wij vonden het daarom handiger om maar boven in het huis te koken en de borden met eten naar buiten te brengen. Ontzettend jammer dat zo'n mooie buitenkeuken niet wordt benut. De woning zelf is een beetje gedateerd (m.u.v. de badkamer) en sfeerloos naar onze mening, maar verder wel netjes en schoon. Wat ons betreft prima. Zoals eerder genoemd in reviews zijn er soms problemen met water. Bij ons kon het zwembad ook niet bijgevuld worden en we hebben korte tijd helemaal zonder water gezeten. Dat was vervelend, maar met een beetje creativiteit los je dat ook wel op. Het probleem lag buiten de schuld van de eigenaren en de beheerder heeft het wel naar vermogen opgelost. Kortom schitterende locatie en tuin en je kunt zien dat de eigenaren daar de laatste jaren in hebben geïnvesteerd, ook qua meubilair. Hopelijk knappen ze ook stapsgewijs het huis verder op, daar zit nog zeker potentie in. Dan wordt het helemaal een perfecte plek. Maar in de tussentijd is het huis al echt een aanrader, met een goede prijs kwaliteit-verhouding.

It is a nice villa with stunning views of both the mountains and the sea. The evening sunset is particularly dramatic. We did not use the pool as it was too cold in April. We had a little problem with the boiler and water supply but were sorted very quickly by our host. The only thing that could made a bit better is the mattresses in the twin rooms. They are quite hard. But all in all it was a great holiday.
