The studio RIA Apartment is the ideal choice for those looking for refined accommodation a few steps from the centre of Como, perfect for discovering the city and its surroundings.
The flat is furnished in a modern and functional style, perfect to accommodate 2 people. It has a large double sofa bed (Please note: the sofa bed will not be prepared for your arrival, as we consider it fair for you to use the sofa during non-sleeping hours. You will find sheets, pillows and blankets in the cupboard/shelf closest to the sofa). The recently restored floor maintains a vintage feel with geometric patterns in shades of beige and brown, creating a warm and cosy atmosphere.
Next to the sofa bed is the dining area, lit by the natural light coming in through the windows, with a wooden table that comfortably seats four, perfect for lunches and dinners with friends.
The kitchen is new and fully equipped, with white panels and a wooden countertop. You will find all the necessary appliances, including a dishwasher, to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
A handy utility room is at your disposal, complete with a washing machine, to cater for all your laundry needs during your stay.
The bathroom is also new and modern, decorated with tiles in soft colours, with a spacious glass shower.
Quality bed linen, towels and toiletries are provided.
We also leave a gift basket with the necessities for your breakfast.

Staying at the RIA APARTMENT you are a 5-minute walk from the historic centre of Como, where you can stroll through the cobbled streets, its shops, bars and restaurants, churches and pretty squares. In 10 minutes you can reach: the famous Piazza Duomo, with its marvellous cathedral and its Broletto, both worth a visit; Piazza San Fedele, a pretty little square with the Romanesque basilica of the same name; Via Vittorio Emanuele, one of the most famous streets for shopping; Piazza Volta, very lively for aperitifs and after-dinner drinks all year round; Porta Torre, one of the historic entrances to the walled city.
It takes less than 15 minutes on foot to reach Piazza Cavour, the largest square in Como, in front of which it is possible to take the Navigazione Lago di Como boat and reach the most famous places on the lake (Cernobbio, Blevio, Torno, Laglio, Argegno, Menaggio, Bellagio, Varenna).
On foot, or by renting city bikes, you can reach Villa Olmo and its park by taking the picturesque walk from the Hangar, and Villa Geno by taking the lakeside Viale Geno. At the beginning of Viale Geno there is also the Funicular railway station to reach Brunate and its lighthouse, where you can stop for lunch in one of the many restaurants, or continue with a panoramic trek towards the Lario mountains, with a break in one of the mountain huts you will encounter along the way. For trekking enthusiasts, the Alda Merini path starts from Via Tommaso Grossi, part of the Lake Como Poetry Way, which in an hour of intense but scenic ascent leads to Brunate, passing also by the picturesque Hermitage of San Donato.

How to get there:
By car, from the motorway A9 take the exit ‘Como Centro’ and set the GPS: in 15 minutes you will reach the apartment building.
By train, from the station of Como San Giovanni you can take the bus N.5 for 7 stops and get off at the stop ‘Como, Don Guanella’: in 1 minute walk you'll reach the flat. Or you can take from the bus stop ‘S. Rocchetto’ (4 minutes from Como San Giovanni station) several buses (11, N1, N6, N7, C70, N4) that lead to the centre and allow you to get very close to the apartment building.
From Como lago station, walk 10 minutes to reach the flat.
