"Very high level of service, so nice staff. you can feel that the hotel is getting older but for my one night stay it was perfect. the bed was nice and maybe only thing was the radiator, it was so hot and had to sleep with the window open as you can't change it. the souroundings are stunning. "

There was COMPLETE silence even though it is in the town centre. Local takeouts are closeby, within walking distance, also groceries, pharmacy ,cafes etc and by walking distance i mean within 5 mins, at a leisurely pace. Lismore is an extremely quiet town. "This stay five was out of this world. This is a historic castle that has amazing public areas and the private rooms are warm and inviting. Staff was helpful and hands off unless you needed assistance, the main dining room had French service and breakfast in the solarium was a great start to our day. They even had had a visit from Santa and an albino wallabe. "
