I didn’t stay. They didn’t tell me I would be waiting for a parking spot for an hour and a half. It had a pile of snow too deep for my car. She told me they shoveled earlier… the sidewalk was shoveled… but the parking spot hadn’t been touched! I had to call several times and they said they would call back in a couple minutes…. Which turned into 20-30 minutes… so I called back… she was JUST texting a cleaning lady when I called the 2nd time. She kept saying she would be there in 3 minutes. Her 3 minutes was 30 minutes. So I sat in the middle of the road, in a neighborhood I knew nothing about, people strong at me. I had to drive around the block several times due to cars coming up behind me and laying on their horn. After an hour and a half, two people show up with two tiny garden shovels, not snow shovels, who can’t speak English. . I was so tired I just left. I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for a cheaper price, continental breakfast and a plowed parking spot. I was laying in bed at the Holiday Inn 15 miles down the road when I got the text that my parking spot was cleared. I told them I was leaving. I was exhausted and it was hard to stay awake. The inconsistency with what they were telling me on the phone, and the courtesy to tell me about there not being anywhere to park BEFORE I paid them $159 is why I gave a 1 star. They are refusing to refund me my money. If I can’t park my car anywhere, I can’t stay there! The respectful thing to do would be to refund me.
