Summary:
The two-story house is a large 6 bedroom/2 full bath with 2 full kitchens.

Updated kitchens, bathrooms, and bedrooms with brand new memory foam mattresses.

This house is perfect for groups of friends, families, or co-workers! We are just 5-10 minutes from the Short North and Convention Center! Our house is just 1/2 mile from OSU, Expo Center, and Mapfre Stadium. 10 mins to the airport!

Off-street parking for 6 cars!

The Space:
This is a very large two-story home.

We have 10 true beds within the bedrooms and an additional 7 beds between the pull-out sofa, couch, and air mattresses.

The first floor has 2 large bedrooms, 1 full updated bathroom, updated kitchen w/ stainless appliances, large living room, & dining room.

The second floor has large 4 bedrooms, 1 full updated bathroom, and a second updated kitchen w/ stainless appliances.

The living room has a three couches. Two couches with reclining seats and a pull-out sofa. Plenty of seating for large groups!

The dining room table is very large - 6 chairs w/ additional chairs provided.

There is off-street parking for 6 cars and free street parking in front of the house.
There is a front patio w/ wicker chairs and yard as well.
There is a washer and dryer for your convenience.

The Neighborhood:
The home is located near Iuka Ravine off of N. 4th St. There is a mix of musicians, professors, students, and working professionals who live in the area. The house is centrally located to all Columbus has to offer. The house is within walking distance (15 mins or so) to Ohio State University. We are just around the corner from the Ohio Expo Center and Mapfre Stadium. We are 5-10 minutes from all of the action in the Short North, Convention Center, Nationwide Arena, and Downtown. We are located close to all major highways and 10 minutes from the airport.

Getting Around:
There are bus stops on 4th St. and it is a very cheap Uber to all of the best Columbus has to offer.

Other Things to Note:
Guests must provide a valid driver’s license or ID and sign our Rental Agreement after booking to receive arrival instructions. Parties & unauthorized gatherings are strictly prohibited, and hosts reserve the right to withhold arrival instructions of confirmed reservations from guests with negative or low reviews, are under 25 years old and/or live closer than 100 miles from the home at the host's discretion in an effort to ensure the safety and security of our community, (impacted guests will be notified shortly after booking, and a full refund will be provided if the guest cancels the reservation in a timely manner).

PET FEES: Guests are required to disclose how many pets will enter the home. A one-time fee will be required based on the length of stay for the following amounts:

$35 (Less than 5 nights)
$50 (5 - 30 nights)
$100 (30+ nights prorated daily, or $75 for each additional full month booked)

  • The second oldest building remaining on The Ohio State University campus, Orton Hall was opened in 1893. It is named after Dr Edward Orton, Sr. who served as Ohio State's first president, OSU Professor of Geology from 1873 to 1899, and Ohio's State Geologist from 1882 until his death in 1899. Orton Hall is built of 40 different Ohio building stones. In the outside walls, these stones are laid in stratigraphic order according to their relative positions in Ohio's bedrock. The only non-indigenous to Ohio stone used is Indiana Limestone to build the front steps. It was chosen because of its high concentration of embedded fossils. The bell tower was dedicated in 1915 and contains 25,000 pounds of bells that can be heard regularly tolling across campus. Encircling the top of the tower are 24 columns with gargoyle-like figures which are restorations of fossil animals.

Property is a Catfish !!!

The kitchen was not clean, fridge was disgusting on top. The coffee makers had mold in them both, and the toasters had not been cleaned. The window seals had dead bugs in them and they had been there a while. The fridge would not get cold. There was no broom to sweep the floors, and there was no plug for kitchen sink, so we could not wash dishes properly, and had to rely on the dishwasher, which only cleaned dishes in the bottom rack. There were no dish towels, only one sponge. The pans were old and some were rusted and we had to use aluminum foil to use them, and the larger pots had no handles… There were ironing boards but no iron. Ony "1 TV" in whole house. I would not recommend the property!

We stayed here for a volleyball tournament recently. Place was great. Big enough for multiple families. No issues with parking. Easy to locate on GPS.

DO NOT STAY

This was a terrible experience. The location was convenient for what we were doing but a safety concern. There was one bed that had a giant pee stain and another room had bed bugs. When these issues where address we were offered a $55 refund and a good review as a sign of good faith. The management of this property cares only about profit, not about the people staying at their locations.

Great house for large groups. Clean, good parking, a lot of restaurants close, communication with property management was great. Highly recommend.

Definitely Book!

This place had a ton of space for all of the guests. It even had 2 fully equipped kitchens in the house and plenty of lounge space. I had my friends and I stay here for a Friendsgiving and we were able to cook in the kitchen and there was enough supplies to clean up after ourselves after. Only downside was there was a lot of flies in the house, mainly the dining area, but otherwise we all enjoyed our stay.

Property is located in a dangerous part of town. RAT INFESTATION IN BACK YARD. Photos of property are photo-shopped, thus false. Trash in front and back yards. Discarded items left leaning against the house. Damaged walls, poorly patched. Clutter left in closets. Broken blinds. Unsafe walkway. Dirty bathrooms. HVAC vents dirty / damaged. Interior door shows evidence of forced entry. I was afraid to sit on the sofa for fear of bugs. Dining room table was ready to collapse. Owner was notified (via photos) morning after arrival, but did not respond until 2 days later when I reached out again. Furniture on front porch was decrepit. Also, the house is adjacent to a railroad track, with trains passing through the night. Noisy.
