CBD- Central Business District

Overall it was good. We had what we needed to enjoy the city from the top floor overlooking the park. We could walk anywhere easily to get history, good food, beautiful sights. Location is central so it’s convenient. It can be noisy if you’re not used to the city sounds, buses, horns, sirens. Everyone was nice and busy with their routines. Felt safe and comfortable.

Nice Top Floor Apartment

Overall this one bedroom was a nice place. Decorated minimally but nice. My main concern was parking being included with the stay. There are a number of places in the listing that indicate that parking was available and included with a parking pass. I even inquired before I booked to make sure and was told yes. Unfortunately the parking situation was not the best. There was no parking pass for us so we ended up paying for parking in the garage that is about a block away. Not a huge deal but I was not planning on paying 15-20 a day for parking and it would have been a better experience if the communication was better from the host. I inquired a number of times with no response. Finally after contacting vrbo I get a reply. Still no parking pass and I was there for 7 days. I just wanted the host to rectify the situation and communicate. Since my flight out was late on my last day I did ask for a late checkout and the host was open to that option for the inconvenience for the parking. So with a little help from vrbo customer service we came to a happy medium with the host allowing me to leave at 5pm instead of 10am. That did help out since I work remotely. Overall the place is in a good location. It was quiet and safe and the decor was nice. The bed was very comfortable as well.
