This is a charming older home on a large wooded lot. Plenty of driveway and parking under a double covered carport. Large back yard with a sitting area right outside the sliding glass doors. Lots of nature and the occasional dear!

Inside, a welcoming open floor plan brings the living and dining areas together in an effortless flow, while ample natural light and rich color tones create an inviting vibe. Perfect Place
The house was spacious, clean and stocked with necessary needs. A cozy place in quiet surroundings with a nice backyard equipped with patio furniture and a grill and was close to Ft. Moore where my grandson was graduating AIT boot camp. And also near shopping areas. I loved it!

This is my second time staying in this home the host is so nice and we were comfortable in the home. It met our needs for our stay. I recommend staying here. It's also affordable

Turning Green at Fort Moore
I chose this property for it proximity to Fort Moore and the good price, both of which were great. PROS:The listing's description of this being an older/dated home is accurate. The outdoor space is large and peaceful. The neighborhood is quiet. Check-in and check-out was very simple. The door code worked perfectly. The property manager is very responsive to communication and even purchased a skillet for us to cook pancakes on. CONS:The photos of the house are very dated. The carpet is greatly stained and the wallpaper in the master bathroom is peeling terribly. Every corner has a spider web along the ceiling and the light switch covers have grime from 15 years of hands touching them. The stove drip-pans are covered in foil that hasn't been changed (drip-pans are an easy item to change out and replace) and grease build up is evident on all the cabinet fronts. The kitchen had several pans for cooking, but none of them actually seemed clean before I used them. Finally, ants and cockroaches. The hall bathroom had an increasingly persistent line of ants. The kitchen had multiple cockroaches on the counter-top every evening/early morning. That said, when I reached out to the property manager he IMMEDIATELY attempted to contact an exterminator that evening. Unfortunately, the 1st cockroach didn't show it's creepy head until late on a Friday evening so no one was available. In summation. This property did the job for location & price, but we will NOT stay there again.

Not as expected
We arrived and was locked out the passcode for the lock was not working. The owner was extremely responsive when I emailed her and resolved the issue within 10 minutes as she had someone come to take care of the matter. Once inside I observed that the carpets were filthy throughout the house. In the description it states older home which it was and I had no issue with that. However, the biggest issue I had besides the rugs were the roaches this house is infested. I contemplated leaving but was unable to find another place for us to stay on such a short notice. My grandson was graduating from the military academy and there were many families staying in the area. I honestly felt like I had no choice as I was not going to miss visiting with him. We did leave a day early as soon as I dropped my grandson back to the academy we got on the road. We left our belongings outside our home in the cold in hopes of not bringing any roaches back with us. The curtains were also dirty and hanging off of the curtain rod. The wall paper in the bathrooms was pealing off of the walls as most of the seams were opened. Also the master bedroom had a moldy smell to it I am not sure if the filters in the air vents were not changed or if another issue existed. The positive is the property itself is located on a nice quiet lot which is convenient to travel and the neighborhood was quiet. The host is also responsive when contacted. However, there was nothing that she could do to resolve this issue.

I am not one to complain about a property. But the silver wear was actually not washed. The TV’s had nothing, and we could not get the internet to work at all. I understand this is an older house, but I feel like it could be better kept. Also, we had to supply our own paper products. In all, the bed was comfortable, and that was about the only highlight in the visit.

Clean, quiet, easy!
We enjoyed a restful stay at your property! It was clean, quiet, and the communication with the owner was awesome; very prompt and offered assistance with what to do/where to go. Very reasonable cost as well. Within 20-ish minutes of Fort Benning/downtown Columbus depending upon traffic. My only suggestion for improvement might be updated or more seating in the living room for watching a movie; the couch is rather small. otherwise, it was a great stay. I would definitely book again. Thank you!

Weekend Trip
We had 4 adults come for a weekend to watch the local hockey team. The house was only 15 minutes from the arena. We loved the ability to park around the back and since it was raining we loved the cover over the car to pack/unpack. I would stay here again.
