"I recently went on a 5 day road trip, and this was the last hotel of the bunch. I spent 2 nights here. The negatives: As soon as I walked into the room (non smoking room), it smelled like your grandma that smokes inside sprayed some febreeze in there. Out the front door and to the left you are 10 minutes walking distance from the convention center, out the front door and to the right you are 10 minutes walking distance to the stadium. "The hotel and lobby were nice. The room was good as weak except for some kind of moldy/musty smell that would show up. I couldn’t pinpoint where it was coming from, but suspect it was from the carpet behind the bed headboard. Staff are nice. Location was superb for getting to see other family, friends, and locations like Valleyfair, Como Zoo, malls, etc. Also their ice machines are the best we've had at any hotel ever."
