Relax with the family at this peaceful escape in Colorado’s nature w/ a HOT TUB and backside view of Pikes Peak! Imagine sipping your morning coffee on the deck as you watch the sun rise, or roasting marshmallows over the firepit with Colorado nature all around you as the sun sets! Peace and tranquility!! Just 7 minutes from the town of Woodland Park for great restaurants and conveniences, but far enough away to be completely unplugged and away with your friends and family. Excellent hiking close, and so much to do! (Price includes reasonable VRBO fee of 8%, taxes, and payment processing fees)

This is purely a small family and couples group get-a-way, not intended for a place to party. Here are some additional rules and if you do not agree to them, and while we understand, this may not be the best rental for you. Renting constitutes agreement.

-Maximum capacity is 6 total, no more than 4 adults (13 and older), exceptions are per owner agreement before booking. Additions are $50/night and may be asked to terminate the rental depending on the situation. Please respect the owner's request on numbers of adults. The property is on a septic and well; and it is not designed to host a lot of people.
-No children under the age of 13 allowed in the Hot Tub. Hot tub is Adult only. You MUST complete the waiver before use (Adult making the reservation)
-Pets result in a fine of $250 plus damages (owner has allergy). Additionally, rental agreement will be terminated immediately.
-0 tolerance for parties. This is a family friendly venue.

What a gem. The cabin was more like a nice home, exceptionally clean and well maintained. The kitchen had everything you could think of with all sorts of welcoming touches. The view of Pikes Peak from the front deck and living room was spectacular. Although the drive into town was very short, we felt we were away from it all. We liked relaxing on the deck or swing for two in the evenings. The hosts were very accessible and instructions clear. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

The hosts have thought through every detail for an amazing stay. Their communication was clear, consise and timely. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need and in good working order. The entire house was very clean and comfortable. The views are out of this world and it is so peaceful. The property is clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The property managers are thoughtful and very communicative. The photos on this listing do not do this property any justice. There are horses on property which was a majestic experience despite being allergic. Close to all activities. Highly recommend.

Woodland park cabin 7/14-18

When the 4 of us arrived at the cabin we knew we had made the correct choice. We walked in and found the place clean and no musty smell like other cabins. The kitchen was well stocked with pretty much anything you would need. It even had pancake mix and syrup. 2 coffee makers with coffee was supplied. A full water filter pitcher in refrigerator. A real plus was a counter top ice maker. A complimentary bottle of wine and several snacks were available. Furniture throughout cabin was comfortable and really nice. Beds were comfortable. Maybe add king size bed to main floor bedroom would be beneficial. Bathrooms were well stocked with TP, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap in showers and hand soap and lotion on vanity. The deck has plenty of comfortable chairs a real nice gas fire pit and upscale gas grill. We used the hot tub a couple of nights and found it very clean w/o that stale water smell. To cap it all off there is that amazing view of Pikes Peak. The 4 of us agreed a 10+ rating would be correct.

Beautiful cabin!

My family enjoyed our stay in this wonderful cabin! It was very clean! Had all the amenities that you would ever need and want. The cabin was very spacious and the views were AMAZING!! We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub with the great view of Pikes Peak. We got to see several deer around the property. Owners were very generous, helpful and always quick to respond with any questions we had. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again!

Family friendly with extraordinary hosts

What a fabulous cabin and experience! Stayed here with my family and we enjoyed this quiet yet conveniently located cabin. Of note, the host went out of her way to ensure we were taken care of and was very responsive for us. The house was well appointed with reasonablr guest expectations clearly posted. We saw a lot of wildlife while staying here and enjoyed the array of amenities. Do not hesitate to book this place, it will exceed your expectations and the views are spectacular. We have stayed at many rentals and this place and the owners are the best!

Beautiful and Relaxing

This cabin is amazing! It nails the mountain vibe perfectly! It’s very clean and in great shape. I really wanted a place with a view of pikes peak. The views did not upset. The only problem was, it was so AMAZING that we couldn’t get ourselves out of the cabin early enough to do all our adventures and site seeing we had planned! 1st world problem haha! It’s close enough to all the tourist attractions, but far enough away to feel like you’re alone in the mountains. We absolutely LOVED THIS CABIN. Dave and Erin are wonderful hosts and respond quickly if you have questions. This is a must stay!

Colorado Getaway

We were VERY impressed with the cabin and property! It is becoming hard to find spaces like what this cabin offers, along with the hospitality! My husband and I both sat down after arriving at the cabin a few hours prior and made the same comment; that you rarely find hosts like this anymore! We’ve stayed in plenty to compare and really capture how much David & Erin care about their guests! Our kids have said repeatedly the cabin was the highlight of our trip, they loved the space, the outdoors and the hot tub! The cabin was very nice, clean, and stocked with the essentials! 5 stars all around for our stay! We hope to visit again in the future!

The perfect spot to relax and take in the view! Great amenities and clean. The only downside we saw was that the entire cabin wasn’t air conditioned. A portable unit was in one upstairs bedroom and fans were scattered throughout so we were still comfortable.

Quiet and Relaxing

The cabin has everything you could need for an extended stay and plenty of space for our family of 5. It was extremely clean. We spent our evenings either playing games from the game cabinet or relaxing by the firepit or in the hot tub. It was pretty secluded, yet close enough to town to grab a bite to eat. Highly recommend!

Such a blessing!

I cannot even begin to tell you what a blessing it was to stay at David's place. My good friend and I checked in on a Wednesday evening and our spouses joined us for the weekend. The place is set on a large piece of property with tons of land around it. The views and tranquility of the property were simply amazing. The cabin has a fantastic kitchen where we prepared all our meals. The deck is huge and a wonderful place to drink your morning coffee or watch the sun go behind the mountains in the evening. Both bathrooms in the property have been renovated and are very nice. The beds and bedrooms also had wonderful linens and were comfortable. There are two separate living room/family room type areas. They are both super nice and provided plenty of seating room and space to relax. The only downside we saw was that on the listing it is listed as having AC. There is a portable unit in the upstairs master, but other than that, it is heat only. The days we were there it was very cool at night, so we were able to open windows and that sufficed. We did not use the hot tub - but it looked clean. We all enjoyed our time there so much and would definitely return. Thank you David for a lovely time!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Plenty of space for 4 adults and 3 kids and you can see Pike’s Peak from the deck! Central location to Colorado/Manitou Springs and also Florissant. Great place to stay

Stay there with my family of four and a friends family of four and had plenty of room. In a quiet location and the property was extremely nice and clean. Close to a lot of off-road trails which we thoroughly enjoyed.
