Great Location in Cheyenne Cañyon, 3Bd, 1.5Bath, Private fenced yard and deck!

Fantastic Colorado Springs vacation home and neighborhood! The best biking and hiking trails in the area. Stratton Open Space is just out the back door, offering many miles of hiking and mountain biking.
Privacy abounds, with your own private fenced yard with deck, table and chairs. Your four legged friends are secure in the fenced yard. Dogs of certain breeds are welcome, pets are not allowed on the furniture or the beds! Pet fee is $50 per pet. Contact owner about the number of pets that will be on the property and the breed. Private off street parking. No smoking of anything inside the house!!
3 bedroom- 2 queen beds and 1 full; 1 1/2 bath; great kitchen with all the essentials needed for cooking including a gas stove, side by side refrigerator, dishwasher, double sink etc. Hardwood floors throughout the house. Dining room just off the kitchen. Fantastic living room with ceiling fans and comfortable couches.
Out the door off the living room is a fenced yard for kids and pets, deck and outdoor furniture. The main bathroom has a good sized vanity, tub and shower combo, linen closet and toilet. The half bath is off the kitchen.
This is a fantastic get away close to everything, yet away for privacy. ABSOLUTELY no smoking of anything inside the house!! This is the main house "Unit A" and there is a unit B, a small 1bedroom place. Separate entrances and parking. Absolutely no shared spaces.
Warning; there is a possibility of seeing wildlife in the neighborhood and on the property. This includes deer, bear and other wildlife. Again, pets are not allowed on the beds or the furniture.

Great Stay

My family and I had a great stay at this property. We were looking for a location that would allow us to do some running and biking right out the door and this location was perfect. Great access to some challenging running routes on both trails and local roads. Also proved to be convenient location for trips to local attractions.

Great Family Getaway

This is a lovely property, well equipped with anything you might need. Great outdoor space with plenty of wildlife . 15 minutes from Garden of the Gods/Manitou Springs. Restaurants and grocery stores are close and there are trails to hike right out of your back yard!. Check in/out is simple. Steve is a wonderful host!

Relaxing and beautiful

Spacious yet cozy home with fabulous yard for you and your dog. Beautiful birds and rabbits visited this peaceful spot! So close to fun trails and good restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice place! We really enjoyed our stay.

An excellent location for a getaway! So close to many amazing locations, plus the property itself was quite beautiful, we saw several deer nearby, and the reservoir hike was just around the corner.

The location was nice and had a good view. The kitchen was nice and included everything needed to cook meals. In the morning we got to see a family a deer that would walk around the back yard.

Perfect stay

We arrived late at night and could already tell this was a great location but when we woke up and saw the Mountains behind us and went for a walk on the Stratton Fields Trail we were certain. You can walk to Sacred Grounds coffee house and the trailhead is two driveways away. The house is well furnished and outfitted. The landlord Steve was very approachable and extremely efficient. He communicated well before we arrived and during our stay. Perfect place to stay with family or friends.

Wonderful place

We had 4 adults and one child. Steve was wonderful! Very responsive! The place was clean and the located was awesome! We went hiking out our back door and saw wildlife daily. We all went on walks just to see the deer. We had a momma deer and her twins on the property and many other moose deer staying there too! Very quiet and alot to do right around the area! We loved it and if we are ever in the area again we will definitely stay here again! Thank you Steve for sharing your little piece of paradise with us! We enjoyed every minute!

Clean and comfortable, great outdoor options

We had five adults (two couples, one single) and a dog stay at this home for 10 days, and we had a wonderful time. The home was well equipped for us to cook meals and spend time together inside and outside. The outdoor patio was a wonderful place to relax. The best part was how close we were to hiking trails, which we went to at least twice a day. This house is surrounded by beautiful views. Everything was very clean, and though it is an older home, we were very comfortable.

Happy Surprises

Everything was as expected regarding the listing. We lacked nothing! But, we didn't expect the location to be so great and have so many surprises from nature. Our back yard was an open space with trails and wildlife. A mama deer tucked her 2 babies in for the night right on the property. There were magpies and other birds, too. It rained each evening for a short time which produced rainbows on 2 of the days. Steve was super responsive and helpful!

Cheyenne Canyon

Lovely house located near beautiful Cheyenne Canyon. Lots of hiking & biking trails accessible right from the backyard or just a short drive. We enjoyed seeing the deer in the yard from the picturesque living room window and sitting out on the back patio. Plenty of room to hang out & play games with family. Place was well stocked with everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in Colorado Springs!

Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough good things about our stay. The property was so clean, perfect location to many activities in Colorado Springs. The area is so quiet and the back yard view is peaceful! Steve was so responsive and even helped us find some local places to see fireworks. I will definitely stay here again when we come back. Thanks for a great stay!
