  • Over 8000 square feet of sun light filled rooms with 3000 square feet of outdoor entertaining space, including 4 fireplaces, a fire pit, 1000 square foot trex deck with pergola and large barbecue grill, gym, perpetual motion pool, secondary fully stocked kitchen in mother in law apartment, 4 car garage with ample parking spaces on drive for plenty of guests, 4 miles of trails behind house for exploring, numerous entertaining spaces, easily accommodates 40+ people for a dinner party, multiple dishwashers for easy clean up after, beautiful king size beds in 7 bedrooms and 1 queen in 8th. There are trundle beds for children in 2 of the larger bedrooms as well in the lower level. Children's room sleep multiple children with pull out beds and a loft. Play set in the back yard complete with 2 slides and an easy access ramp. Lilac gardens and flowering trees flank the front door and backyard boast a gas fire pit and 15 foot outdoor fireplace connected to fully furnished outdoor living room. Come and enjoy this pristine property for your next family reunion, or corporate retreat, or simply to enjoy the beauty of Colorado. Air Force Academy families encouraged and welcome to take advantage of military discounts.

Family Trip

This was a great family vacation! The home was perfect for all of the family to be together and yet had enough room for privacy! The location was perfect, close to all of the attractions we went to! The kids absolutely loved the Zip Line and the ground floor trampoline! The decks were great for our gatherings for morning coffee & evening relaxation! Communications with Susanne was great! we would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful setting-beautiful home

Such a great place for our four families with children to spread out. All the amenities made it extra special. The backyard was amazing for the kids. The hosts were wonderful as well. Loved it!!

Small Company Retreat

We had a wonderful stay at the farmhouse! We had a small company retreat and there were enough rooms for our team - each very comfortable. Beyond being a stunning home, there is so much to do, from the hot tub. pool table to the gorgeous outdoor space. It would be perfect for a large family gathering - I am noting that for future as there are lots of amenities for children.

Perfect Family Vacation

This house was just perfect for our multi family vacation. We had children ages 5, 3, and 2 years old, and they had so much fun. The playroom inside was perfect and the kids loved the outdoor fun. The kitchen had everything we needed to make at home meals for 8 people. It exceeded our expectations and made it a very memorable trip.

Amazing home, amazing hospitality!

We rented this home for our staff to stay in for a recent retreat. Susanne and Craig exceeded all of our expectations, and were amazing hosts. This home is beyond beautiful and the outdoor space is incredible! This home would be the perfect place for any large gathering. We will be back!

We had a lovely time at this home. The location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to explore, yet tucked away enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. The house has a lot of character and clearly holds many memories. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces and walks in the neighborhood.Even though the air conditioning was appreciated during the warmer afternoons — they were a bit tricky to navigate with multiple units and instructions. A few small touches around the home could use a bit of freshening up, but it didn’t take away from the experience. With a little extra attention, this place could really shine even brighter!We’d consider coming back!

Beautiful house that needs some TLC

House worked well for our extended family vacation. Grandkids enjoyed the zipline and the hot tub. Some of the windows wouldn’t shut/lock which bothered us at night. Some appliances and the grill were in need of a deep clean, and a maintenance person showed up unannounced late on our last night. Susanne was easy to reach and responded quickly to our concerns.

The home is absolutely amazing and the black forest are of north colorado springs is so beautiful. the owners are terrific. We had family emergency and they they let us rebook the trip for a few months later at no cost

Family and friends graduation celebration

We gathered to celebrate our daughter’s graduation. The property is spacious and grand. It is an older farmhouse with lots of character and lots of privacy. The owner was friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the amenities especially the outdoor space with the fire pit, volleyball court, and grill. I would highly recommend.

All the Comforts of a Lovely Home

This beautifully appointed home is comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. So many things to do for every age group and interest. The kitchen is perfect, bedrooms comfortable and elegant. Kids are king here! Outdoor and indoor spaces are creative and thoughtfully planned. We used Chef Chris Bierbaum at Susanne's recommendation and he was awesome to help us enjoy our family time together. We will return.

Family get together to celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

The property location was centrailized to activities we'd planned. Whitewater rafting, attending a Colorado Rockies game, visiting Pikes Peak, visiting relatives in Denver. The property has many outdoors and indoors activities that kept the grandkids, ages 6-20, entertained and happy! The property is well maintained and any concerns were promptly addressed by the owners, who we got to meet. So many happy memories were made.

Absolutely Beautiful!

This home was perfect for our large family with five children under the age of four. The indoor play room and outside play areas kept them happily occupied for hours. We enjoyed the outdoor areas especially in the evenings as we sat around the nice fire pit. The home is older and is showing some wear but we’d stay here again in the future for sure! It feels like a true home and is decorated beautifully. It was very clean and had all sorts of extras in case we forgot anything. Thank you for the use of this amazing property!

Beautiful Location

The location was absolutely beautiful! The owners were extremely helpful and on-site a lot! They made sure that things were cleaned. The only problem was the spa jacuzzi it wasn’t working properly and wasn’t usable. We reported to owners and they tried to attend to it but I think maintenance was needed. Other than that there were no other issues. We were able to zip line on the property! We had a blast! Some cooking supplies were provided for us. Wonderful stay!

This house is amazing!

Went to Colorado Springs for our son's wedding; we had family and friends stay with us. Two of the nights there were 14 people at the house. Susanne Hoffman, owner, is wonderful; even met her son Ben who was also wonderful. There are 8+ rooms with beds. House is fully stocked with everything you could require, other than food, of course. Very clean home. Very welcoming, we all felt so comfortable there. On the property (5 acres) there is a zip line for the kids, trampoline, playset, the hot tub/infinity pool. Beautiful experience,, we highly recomment this home.
