Experience the beauty and wildlife of Cheyenne Cañon in this beautiful historic 2 bedroom one bath cottage built in 1913. Updated with modern features but retaining the old world charm of the wide trim and wood floors with antique furniture and fixtures. Enjoy the 5 person hot tub on the back porch. Located only 2 blocks from the famous Broadmoor Hotel and a half block from Cheyenne creek. Deer and other wildlife visit the property often. You are minutes away from all amenities, yet secluded in the beauty and serenity of Cheyenne Canyon.

This beautiful 1300sf cottage furnished with many antique and historic pictures from Colorado Springs colorful past. Beautiful stone fireplace with electric fireplace heater. Two bedrooms, full bathroom, dining room with seating for 6, good sized living room, enclosed sun porch, acoustic guitar to play, 5 person Hot Tub, BBQ grill, porch swing and table/chairs await you on the back porch. The living room hosts a 55' Smart TV, DVD player and a large DVD movie library! Blue tooth sound bar. The kitchen is equipped with modern stainless steel appliances and is well stocked providing a Toaster Oven, Microwave, Blender, Griddle, Rice Cooker, Spice Rack, Coffee Pot, Pots/Pans, Plates/Glasses, utensils and much more! Washer and dryer in basement and camping coolers.

Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate, Creamer, Sugar and sweetener provided.

The master bedroom has a king size oak sleigh bed with a new mattress, night stand and dresser. Bedroom 2 has a full size antique bed with new mattress and Twin bed. Bedrooms are equipped with alarm clocks with USB charging port for your cell phone or tablet. Living room has a new queen sofa sleeper with an upgraded memory foam mattress. Twin Sofa sleeper. There is a high chair and a pac n play for infants.

From the property you can hear musical bells from the Will Roger's Shrine and historical churches. Cheyenne Cañon offers hiking, horse back riding, world class mountain biking and dirt bike riding on its numerous trail systems and the infamous Captain Jacks Trail. Stratton Open Space Preserve is just a block in half away! You will find trail maps of Cheyenne Cañon and of the Colorado Springs area of local trails and historical books of the area. The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Will Rogers Shrine, Seven Falls, and Helen Hunt Falls are just up the road. Experience world class golf courses Blocks away. Old Colorado City & Manitou Springs are just Minutes away.

Being only blocks from the famous Broadmoor Hotel give you access to all it has to offer. Try an Award winning beer from Bristol Brewing Company just a few minutes down the road. Enjoy the many 5 star restaurants and local favorites all just minutes away. The world Arena is less then 10 min. away.

It was lovely, but you really need a curtain in the kitchen that shares a door with the bathroom. I can see right into the neighbors house and they could see me.

Tucked into a quiet neighborhood with no disturbances. The house obviously has some age to it but was maintained very well! Rooms were clean, kitchen was well stocked, the check in process was smooth and easy.The hot tub was nice and clean, we enjoyed the hot tub a lot! The hot tub was missing the cover stand or whatever it's called that makes it easier to open... but it was not impossible to manage.Thank-you for the excellent place to stay on our anniversary!

Had a conference at the Broadmoor- this was the perfect place to stay. Easily walkable to the conference with lots of deer along the way! Great communication from the host and the place was spotless. The hot tub was a great bonus!

I know it's hard to believe when you see a ton of highly positive reviews, but this cottage was fantastic! It's an older home with all of that charm and warmth.The neighborhood was super quiet and we had no issues at all.Just be aware that the laundry facilities are in the basement/cellar which requires you to go outside to get to. But not an issue at all. The host was super communicative, but we had no issues that required his assistance. Would definitely stay again.

The house was in a great quiet neighborhood close to everything we wanted to see. Wi-Fi worked well and the appliances were all top notch. The communication was phenomenal. Very helpful and quick replies. My wife really enjoyed the books and I enjoyed playing guitar. The hot tub was clean and relaxing. I spent a lot of time on the back porch. Very peaceful and private. We had a friendly neighborhood raccoon perch on top of the fence and watch us for a while. Just a nice relaxing space.

Cute renovated old house, clean and stocked well. Washer and dryer are outside and downstairs in the basement (for those that are unable to use stairs). Saw deer everyday in front yard. Older neighbor lady to the right was friendly and nice. Appreciated the amount of towels. Enjoyed our stay here very much.

Charming cottage in a great neighborhood. We loved the hiking trails a few blocks away. The king sized bed was absolutely the most comfortable bed I’ve ever had in a vacation rental. Ring the vintage doorbell just for fun. Thanks to the host. Top notch.

Nice location with a excellent host.

Very well appointed property with many thoughtful amenities provided. I pulled in the driveway one evening to see a deer staring at me without any alarm, so yes, it's a quiet side street off the beaten path. The host was very responsive accommodating special circumstances.
