We LOVED staying here. Sally is a wonderful host, so thoughtful and communicative. There was everything we needed for a comfortable stay and then some. If you're looking for ideas of what to do in the area or where to go for food, there's a whole binder with great suggestions. There's also information about the history of the area, which we loved reading about. The house was very clean and well-maintained. It's also extremely organized, with labels and signs throughout to help guests find what they need. It very much felt like visiting someone's home rather than staying in 'souless empty dwelling #18' like some listings. The house is conveniently located for anyone wanting to hike or do touristy things in the Colorado Springs/Manitou Springs/Woodland Park area. We went to several kid-friendly attractions and had a blast. The nearby playground is small but fun.Although the listing isn't technically accessible, there are no steps to enter the house via the driveway door, and the home is all one level. There's also a shower with a little stool that makes the whole interior very friendly for anyone who has issues with steps. The deck requires climbing stairs, and the front porch has two steps, but otherwise someone who uses a walker, cane, or crutches, could easily navigate the space. We hope to come back here another time if we can. It was WONDERFUL!
